Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of boiled blood, namely mine, and now it is time for you to post until the boiled cows come home.

The tourist board really needs to shorten the name of this place:

Good morning, all!

Today Fed Ex sends ROBERTA to Dublin and out of the office, and I will be happy once it's picked up, sometime between 11am and 4pm.  When I get to the office, I'll seal the cartons and clean off my work table. I've got a Jerome Moross score to begin, and that will be most of my income for July.

More coffee!

I hope you feel better very soon, DR Vixmom. Although with that schedule you are keeping, I don't see how it is possible!     :P

Beautiful matchbooks in the notes today.

I have a small accumulation (can't call it a collection) of matchbooks.  Most were picked up at one yard sale (called 'tag sales' in these here parts), a couple were found on eBay, and a few were actually ones I'd saved.

They're really a wonderful memento.  As are ashtrays, of which I've found a few cherce ones.

I'll take a look in a while and see what might be worth sharing.

I also love A PLACE IN THE SUN.  It's a great film and, like THE MALTESE FALCON, one of those infrequent cases when the remake was much better than the original.

You know what?

No, of course you don't.  How could you?  So I'll tell you.

I just really looked at the Pickwick Books signage in that postcard, and I think all - or part - of that beautiful color neon, etc., was gone when I got there.  That is stunning in a way I just don't remember.

I'll have to check on this.
