Strange weather this afternoon. Our monsoon will be here soon, I believe.

DR John G......I purchased truffle salt from Dean&Deluca and use it on scrambled eggs...not the same as the real thing, of course, but not bad.

Next year, they are re-naming the festival from "Taste of Tacoma" to "Taste of TCB."

I like it!  It has a nice ring to it.

I am trying to decide if I want to start to delve into the film version of Les Mis (I have not seen it yet).

Well...........it isn't horrible.

It is currently 90 degrees in Tacoma, and the number of people willing to walk six to ten weeks in this heat has slowed.

Just think, TCB - next year, they'll only have to walk as far as your place!     :)

How do you get the candle to stand upright in the applesauce?

Really, we need a frenzy or five.  I'm exhausted already.  I had a late lunch at Hugo's - pasta papa.  Otherwise I've just been doing the damn busy work and it's now done!  So, that's part one of that.  Next batch on Tuesday.

I haven't read many of today's posts.  I've been watching TV to free up space on my DVR and I burned a DVD, too.  I'm now going to see a one-woman show called, "The Swimsuit Area."  The woman who wrote it and will be performing it is local and I've been in a few shows with her.  She's amazing.  I can't wait to see it.

This is actually an extended run of the show.  She had performed it at the beginning of the month and it completely sold out.  She's performing it at The Midnight Sun, the 42-seat space where "Reservoir Dogs" ran.  She actually manages the space, so I'm sure that that's how she was able to add extra performances. ;)

Anyway, my friend Margo and I are meeting for dinner first, and then we're going to see Elizabeth talk about her "Swimsuit Area"...yup, it's about that.  It's frakking hot here and hopefully the theater won't be horrible, but it probably will be.  I'm bringing a fan.
