Went back to bed for a couple of hours - up now and just heard that one of our singers is sick with no voice - so, he'll come on Wednesday (hopefully better) and we'll have to set something up with him on Friday - he's a newbie to us and I won't let him do it without his two solo rehearsals.

DR CP - I use this free program to change photo sizes.  It is small, and I have never received any SPAM email as a result of using it.  And the resized photo ends up in the same folder with the original unless you choose differently.

I proofed two sections of the Moross, printed and bound a ROBERTA libretto since I cannot find the one I was using, and printed and taped two corrected Violin parts. I think I'll go home.

Yesterday I saw the weirdest thing on my bike ride.

On the bike path (the one on the side of the road) there were 2 horses.  And they didn't move to let me by. :)

Even more weird they were police horses. I've never seen police on horses here before. I can't really imagine what they could accomplish.  I have occasionally seen police on bikes they ride the bike paths and go thru the bike paths in the park.

Those little chicks remind me of the ducks and geese at the lake I bike around.

They are super big now (the family of babies). One time last week they decided to park their whole family on the bike path.

From DR TCB:

I'm sorry I didn't say the reason for the vibes, DR Jennifer, but I didn't think it was my place to tell all the details of Danise's problems.  But I still thought she needed the vibes.

I figured that was your reasoning, pondered it awhile and then decided to go ahead and explain the vibes.

That's WITH my skylight open. :P There is a slight breeze, so it's actually bearable.

Yes, awful awful news from Yarnell, AZ. We drove through that area once on one of our very early Freedom Day treks. It was a lovely place.

I'm guessing DR Miss Karen is breathing the smoke since she is only about 50 minutes away.

Were they possibly there to prevent people from passing?  That would be a sight to see.  When we lived Michigan a small town near us, Birmingham, had policemen on horses.  I still remember the first time Echo saw them :)

Not yet.  At least I haven't seen anything on Facebook.  I thought about calling but she must have so much to do & I can't help from here.

Last night we watched TO SIR WITH LOVE.  We haven't seen it in a long time.  I heard the song on the radio a few weeks ago and was in the mood to watch when to my delight I found Keith had recorded it.

Tuesday afternoon greetings from my last session at McCormick Place!  Finished up the exhibit hall this morning, then had a nice lunch with Richard.  He's waiting for me in a lounge area with a view of Lake Michigan and I'm celebrating the 60th anniversary of FAHRENHEIT 451.
