I'm a bit late with yesterday's notes. I was trying to think where I'd heard of Linkedin and this morning remembered that I'm a member! Never really understood the point of it though.

Good morning, all! Today is another Toyland day. I have to finish up the Moross chart so I can invoice it. The reason? Taxes on that goddam property in Ohio are due in two weeks and, since the Man from Philadelphia is down to his last drachmas, I have to find the money somewhere.  I blame all of this Ohio mess on the greedy Macbeths and continue in my conviction that it will be my estate that sells the property and I will never see a cent of it.

While today is Friday, it seems like any day but Friday. Yesterday seemed to be Friday to me.

I started going to an open mic / poetry meeting on Thursday nights.
I've loved every one. (only been to 3) and plan to go to all from now on.
Within walking distance for me.

Opening night went very well, thank you all very much.

Very good audience that was with us from the moment we started.  First act came in at 55 minutes, second act came in at 43 minutes.....I was on my home by 10:30!!

Oy.  (But it's a good oy.)  Needed another hour of sleep, and I've got a busy day ahead of me.  I wonder if I can sneak in a little doze.

Of course, I've already started on the coffee.  But that doesn't necessarily prevent the doze from happening.  We'll see.
