Good morning, all! I am up extra early this morning because I have to see my doctor at 8:30; there's a bruise or something on my foot that I want her to look at and tell me is nothing.

Then, I have errands and other things to do today but I mostly want to avoid the heat.

There's trouble in Neverland:
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/composer-sues-ex-olympian-cathy-rigby-peter-pan-article-1.1400533?localLinksEnabled=false

As someone mentioned elsewhere the credited composer/lyricists are Moose Charlap/Carolyn Leigh and Jule Styne/Betty Comden & Adolph Green wrote the score to Peter Pan and not the guy claiming to be the composer.

This car was most interesting because you turned on the key and depressed the N button on the left to start the car.

ASK BK

I mentioned this the other day but did not see a response.

Did Harvey Schmidt ever telephone you the other day like he said he was going to do?

Wednesday morning greetings!  Mom and I had a shopping trip planned for today, but she's chickened out because of the heat.  I'll go visit her anyway and take her some treats to eat.

And the word of the day is: RESPLENDENT!

Why, that's the very word that springs to mind when I look in the mirror first thing in the morning!

That's also the best word to describe DR Singdaw's thoughts when he sees a plate of fried chicken livers.

Matthew, how did the gluten-free scones taste?

They are quite yummylicious.  The glaze was too thin, but next time will be better.  Yet, they are great.

So, Elmore, did you friend her? (Chortle, snort, snort.)

Certainly.

Not!

The good news is that it is a bruise and not a lesion. Dr Miller, whom I adore, thinks I will live a while longer.

But why do you have that bruise, Dr. Elmo?  Did you twist your foot or step on something that you oughtn't have?

Well, good for Dr. Miller. And for you. Go gentle the next time you haul out the handcuffs and other accessories.

The vice-president of the India-US friendship organization that I recently volunteered with nominated me to become a board member. I thought that was very nice, although I am unsure what that means I have to do...other than attend meetings.

A very nice group of people, so I am sure it will be enjoyable.

DR BK,

Would you ever consider acting in a Movie or on TV if offered a great role?
