Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

The first actual "On Broadway" show that I saw was "Swinging On a Star: The Johnny Burke Musical."  It was fabulous!  I've only been to NYC once and we also saw Julie Andrews in "Victor/Victoria" and "Beauty and the Beast."  I went walking around one of the days and on my own, I bought a ticket from a woman standing in front of the theater that was showing "Robeson," starring Avery Brooks.  I bought her $40 4th row center ticket and had one of the most incredible theatrical experiences of my life.  I know I have some of the Playbills, but they're in boxes, so I can't get to them.

I just rented a storage unit last week (finally) and the plan is to put stuff in there so that I can organize and clean my house.  I know that it'll take me a quite a while to do it, but do it I must. :)

More than 15 or so years ago, a friend of mine asked if I wanted a small (probably 8x10x12 inch) box of Playbills that he got from someone that he knew.  I still have those.  I don't remember what all is in there, but it's filled with Playbills from the 60s and the 70s.  Some even had the ticket stub stapled to them...sadly, even by the time I got them, a lot of the staples were rusting.  I haven't looked at them in many years.  I don't know if I even went through the whole box to see what was there.  Someday (maybe as I bring things to my newly rented storage unit), I will. :D

Well, I have been home all day doing nothing but recording some video clips from Classic Arts Showcase up in my bedroom (where I don't have a computer).  With a few other things that I've recorded on my DVD burner, it's COMPLETELY FILLED UP!  I only have approximately 4 minutes of room left!  I need to burn some DVDs!  A couple of hours ago, my friend Margo asked if I wanted to see a local production of "Julius Caesar" that a mutual friend is in.  I do want to see it, so I said yes.  But the Capital Lakefair parade is going on at the same time and I thought that the play started at 7:00, but it started at 6:30, so there wasn't enough time to get there, find parking and hope that the parade is out of the way.  Instead, we're going to see a movie later tonight.  I wrote down a few choices and when she calls me, I'll let her know what movies are the ones I want to see and what times they are playing.

Looks like we are going to get a doozy of a storm tonight. That might explain the headache I had all day today.

Well, I just got the call from Margo and we're going to go see "R.I.P.D." in 3-D!  We'll also meet at The Rock for dinner before the movie.

Be back later!

I come home after a long day to page five?  Hardly sporting.  Perhaps a frenzy or three is in order before the evening is completely done.

Then I ate way too much food at Genghis Cohen and therefore I have to at least do a mile-and-a-half jog right now - not sure I can do more, but I may just try.

Saturday...closing night of ANGEL STREET.  Great audience last night....lots of people!!!  And a very good show, I am expecting the same this evening....

Which of course will be followed by strike....

Isn't it rather silly to go on strike after the show is over.

Back from a three-mile jog.  Three posts do not a frenzy make.  Get me off this damn page.

Are we really going to be stuck on page five?  Where did everyone go?  The last few days have been amazing and then suddenly everyone disappears like so much fish.

I had a very frustrating day yesterday, so last night I went to a baseball game.  The X's lost, but it was still a very nice night and I enjoyed being there.

Today I mowed the yard this morning, then worked on the yard for 4 hours this afternoon.  While I was trimming a tree I noticed some storm damage at the top of a huge tree that I hadn't noticed before.  It's a big part of the tree that's broken off.  I also need to have another tree cut down and some others trimmed so I called the tree guy.  He's going to come Monday to give me an estimate
