Well, I found out why I had two drinks named after me...it turns out that they screwed up the character names in the program for Guy and I, and I'm listed as Matthews/Kershaw and Guy is listed as Maxwell/Stycks.  That explains why I seemed to have had two drinks named for me.  I really didn't.  But we're not changing our lines or renaming our characters.  They screwed up the program and the board in the lobby with everyone's bios.  There are too many references throughout the script to have everyone involved change their lines.  Hopefully, the program and cast board will get fixed, but if they don't, oh, well.

Re: FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER.  I've just got the Arrow Blu-ray as well. Excellent film and it looks fabulous. The dialogue by Richard Matheson is wonderfully poetic. As I've said before, the Roger Corman, Edgar Allan Poe adaptations are vastly superior to the more crude and obvious Hammer horror films.

It is crazy that it is September 1st.  My niece started school on Thursday. The senior school is grades 3-6. So new school. And all new classes (she has the same class grades 1-2 and a lot of the same people for kindergarten). So a lot of changes.  And apparently a lot more homework. :(

I like that my pool is indoors and open all year.  I am not happy that for the second time it is closed for maintenance while Eleanor is here.  I was looking forward to taking her swimming.

I will never get used to classes beginning before Labor day here.  Craig was happy to return to work.  I hope he always feels that way.
