I also recall, early on, seeing SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS and, of course, my initial inspiration for wanting to get into show business, PINOCCHIO.

Well, got a call almost as I hit work that someone had hijacked my debit card. A $1,200+ purchase had been made at a Best Buy and more charges were being attempted this morning. Ugh.

How horrible! Did you lose the card, or has someone managed to obtain details?  What's the bank going to do?

I woke up feeling like the proverbial truck hit me.  It was just one of those nights when the bed attacks, and the morning backaches are a pain in the... well... back, I guess.  Not to equate this at all with what DR Elmore is dealing with!  Mine is usually remedied by spending an hour in the La-Z-Boy recliner which supports the back beautifully, providing true comfort.  And that's what I just did.  The cure, baby.  The cure.  Of course, I'm sure I need a new mattress as well.  I won't even post how old this one is.

As soon as the Check from Philadelphia clears, I'm ordering a new mattress.

I got cash some place before going out of town last week and hadn't used the card since. I think they took it from the cash machine. I had the card with me. They've stopped payment and will hopefully get things cleared in a couple of days.

Yes DR Elmore,

I was just going to change it to the Correct spelling of Aurelius.  I hate when a name is spelled wrong!

I've been accessing HHW from my Ipad and yesterday I wanted to post a link for something from Youtube, but for some reason there was no share tab that I see when I use my laptop so I am using a regular computer right now.

FROM BABY

Here is Liz Callaway doing the Act One Finale: The Story Goes On. This is a video from the audience. But it is a chance to see her do it live.

I think Liz's version is the best

Also Seth Rudetsky Deconstructs Liz Callaway singing The Story Goes On. He talks about the music and how she sings it. A very interesting video.

TOD
The first cartoon that I can remember is the animation sequence in Mary Poppins.

But I think my favorite series was Scooby Doo Mysteries because I think they were quite good as I was never able to figure out who the villian was.

KISMET Update:

He is not urinating blood any as of this morning. If he is still okay by tonight I will put him back into Doggy Day Camp and let him have a regualr room again on Friday.

Thursday morning greetings!  I have lots of errands to run today, beginning with a "sneak peek" at the new site for our AAUW book sale.  We're very excited about the new venue and I can hardly wait to see it.

TOD:

I remember seeing SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARVES in a theatre.  It may have been the first movie in a theatre I saw.  On the tube, I have hazy memories of Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, Beany & Cecil, Crusader Rabbit, Winky Dink, and Tom Terrific and his dog, Mighty Manfred.  I also remember George Pal puppet toons, particularly Jasper.  There was also a character named Rudy Kazootie...but he may have been a puppet, not a cartoon...or he may have been both. I'm sure I must have seen Warner Bros. cartoons and Disney staples like Mickey and Donald...but they are my earliest memories of cartoons.
