Has anyone, here. heard from Danise lately?

No, but she posted a recipe on That Other Site just half an hour ago.

Has anyone, here. heard from Danise lately?  I worry about that woman.

She occasionally puts something up on facebook.  I know she isn't supposed to talk about her house until everything is settled from the tree falling so I don't ask.

Monday afternoon greetings!  Richard and I were at the vampire's blood lab before 9am for both of us to have tests.  We then went to breakfast, to the Verizon store to ask a question about our recent bill, and to the grocery, where we shopped, Richard had some prescriptions filled, and I did some banking.  It's very unusual for us to be out and about so early, especially on a Monday morning, and we ran into several of my AAUW friends who were very surprised to see us.  Home now for the rest of the day.  I'm actually going to cook dinner tonight and clean off my desk.  It's a mess!

Ginny, I am trying to picutre what you consider "a mess" on your desk.

Actually, I have 2 desks, DR TCB - one where I work at my computer and write and the other kind of a credenza perpendicular to the desk.  The credenza is piled high with AAUW papers, with material for the class I'm starting tomorrow night mixed in.

Here is The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance celebrating their collaboration with the Gershwins:

Rhapsody in Maize and Blue

Very nice.  Although I do think it is pretty tacky that a big University, like Michigan, would go and steal my high school's fight song!

In fact, I'm seeing a lot of little question marks in people's posts.  Something clearly has changed since this move.

You can see my avatar?  I have a little blue question mark and I see things in your posts that are little question marks.  This is not good and I'm quite bored of it and have just called the emergency line.

Oh HELL!!!  It just happened for me, too.  That's what I get for posting so soon.

BK's avatar gone, and no smileys.  I don't see question marks, just the broken image symbol.

Hell's Bells!

Oh yes, favorite spy films.

Hmmm...

I rather like some of the Italian spy films of the 1960s, particularly those starring Ken Clark, Brad Harris and Tony Kendall, or Rodd Dana.

But they all had such huge hits, can't you narrow it down?

A Regrettable Oversight.

That should be the title of my latest memoir. Or something.

Gee, John, don't you hate people who do that?

Nope. It's a pain trying to post twice in a row these days.

Now it's showing up in Safari after I quit Safari and relaunched - but no smileys.  Maybe I'll see if I can check a box or something.

I'm thinking that when we moved, certain things like smileys that have a web address path, the addresses no longer work - I'll suggest they start there, although no one has called.
