I, also, will be seeing the IMAX 3-D "The Wizard of Oz" tomorrow afternoon.

I hope you will consider reporting back here on your impressions!

We've got it here for a week and I can't go tomorrow, so probably over the weekend.

I keep forgetting to mention that I, also, will be seeing the IMAX 3-D "The Wizard of Oz" tomorrow afternoon.  I'm taking the day off.  Showtime is 4:45 p.m. in nearby Emeryville.

Thanks for the reminder!  I definitely want to see this!

Glad to read on Playbill.com that "Meet John Doe" is getting a studio recording. I love the old Gary Cooper-Jean Arthur movie and wonder what the musical is like.

Happy to say that Christiane Noll will be joining our And the World Goes Round recording cast.  Couldn't be happier that the timing worked.  She was the first person I thought of for the Karen Mason track and her voice will be perfect for it.

And RYacko will be coming back to Kritzerland for our holiday show.

Congrats on casting Christiane Noll and Congrats to DR RYacko on his Kritzerland Returning!! :D

My replacement debit card still hasn't arrived so I called Paypal and had a very frustrating conversation with some yokel, then a nicer one with his supervisor.  All they can tell me is that it "looks" like it went out on the 11th, but it may not have because the company they use to create the cards had some issue and it created a lot of delays - they apparently have isolated whatever the issue is and implemented a fix for whatever it is, but cards could take two to four MORE weeks to get to us, which means it might not arrive until October 11.  In about three days a ton of online auto pays will fail now and I will not enter my Kritzerland debit card info on any of those sites, so I'm going to have to call each and every one and tell them what happened and if they don't actually do paypal payments then they're just going to have to wait until the new card comes and it's just tough beans if they don't like it.  The only problematic one is the data charge for the iPad - but that's not till the first of the month.  The AT&T people I'll call, DirecTV I'll call, and Time Warner I'll call.  Everyone else can wait.

And now I'll just jog that frustration the hell out of me.  I did have a wonderful conversation with Muse Margaret this morning about what will be the new book and she's really excited I'm doing story she loves that was once upon a time going to be a film.  I told her some ideas and she absolutely adored them and it's turning into a completely different thing than the screenplay we were pitching.  Completely new plot stuff, characters, and ideas.  And she loves the title and I think it may be the best title I've ever come up with.  I came up with the title fifteen years ago in thinking about a different idea I had.  Then I appropriated it for the other idea but not as the title of it - but for the novel it is a perfect title and much better than the jokey title we had for the movie - that was also mine, but it was smart-assy and not what I want at all for what this book will be.  I will be making notes now (have already started) and know exactly how I want to begin the book and what the first chapter will be and even what the first third of the book will be in terms of how to set the world and the characters, with the plot kicking in somewhere around chapter six - much like the Kritzer books.  Color me excited and I'll begin, as I always do, January 1.

I am having some matzoh ball soup and potato salad from Artie's for dinner, and I will later have a part of the Artie's birthday cake with a scoop of ice cream.  I'll have the rest of the cake for breakfast tomorrow.

George I thought the bowl was blue until you mentioned the boa was in it-lol

There are all sorts of things you can do with it.  You can put pretty colored stones in the bottom and float flowers in it.  You can use it to serve food or you can fill it with your favorite key chains.

Several co-workers said that I should bring it to work and fill it with candy.  I was actually going to do that, but I forgot to get candy last night when I was at Costco...and then I forgot to bring the bowl to work today, anyway. ::)

I watched last night.  I (mostly) agreed with the top six that they showed.  I really would've liked the KriStef Brothers in the mix, but that's just me.  Otherwise, I agree with the selection of, but was torn between, the top two.  I really liked the winner and felt he should've been in the top two, but I really wanted the first runner up to win.  He definitely will have a very successful career.

Back from a three-mile jog, planking and doing thirty-five sit-ups.  Darling Daughter should be here within the hour then I think we'll just mosey on over to The Smoke House.

I think you would like the movie, and the book as well, of FAHRENHEIT 451.  Both Julie Christie and Oskar Werner are wonderful in this, especially Werner.

There are changes from the book to the film that make each unique.  I've mentioned before that Ray Bradbury used to stop in at the Bruin Theater, where Keith and I worked, while the movie was playing.  He would go in, watch awhile and then leave.  He was extremely happy with it.
