Trying to figure out what time I need to get on the bus tomorrow.  The catalogue says 8:30, but for some reason I'm thinking it's earlier than that.   Think I'll pick up some breakfast to go and get to the parking lot early.  Of course this is lifelong learning so everyone is there at least 1/2 - 1 hour early to get the best seats on the bus.

Had a follow-up with the chiropractor today.  Interestingly enough, my top ribs are out a bit.  As soon as she put them back my stiff shoulder stopped hurting.  I wish I would have gone last year after my accident.  It may have saved months of pain.  Oh well

In the ha ha Karma department....the guy across the street is having some outside painting done.  The worker had his radio blaring all day. I came home for lunch and couldn't believe how loud it was.  It was still blaring when I came home tonight...then....  :)    I looked out and someone was jumpstarting his truck....."Car-ma"  at work.   I snickered

And I didn't tell you that he was a month early, 6 pounds 9 ounces, but I think all is well. At least I could practically see my brother beaming through the phone when he told me

Sorry to see Marcella Hazan has died. Loved her simple, honest approach to Italian food.

Sometimes when we are traveling I order a side salad and ask them to leave off the lettuce and add extra carrots.  So far only one salad actually arrived as requested-lol

Usually salads are more than 50% lettuce, so I can see the confusion.

;D  Plus the lettuce is the cheap part of the salad.

DR ELMORE that itch means that you're going to get the opportunity to travel.

As long as it's not to Ohio in a 6-foot long pine box!

No.....not happening.

Hmmm, and how often do you actually have vegetables in a little side salad?  Usually there is only a little bit of grated carrots and some tomatoes which are fruit.  Now a spinach salad is different but they are rarely side salads.

lettuce was a vegetable last time I checked

Not much nutrition in plain lettuce and my stomach doesn't like it.

I have been pretty amazed. She said I really had a lot going on last week and most of the adjustment had held (muscles tend to pull you back out if they are too tight) She did do several other adjustments and I'm totally amazed at how well it works.  It was also the last day of 15 dollars off a hot rock massage, so they suggested I buy a gift certificate for myself to use in the future.  So I did :)

I suspect that if I'd seen one regularly I wouldn't be in the shape I am now.

I have had very good results over the years with chirpopractors --- I must get me to one soon as  my back has been starting to ache again

I once was in so much pain I could not take a deep breath for days  -  i thought I had pneumonia - the docotr said I was clear and prescribed a very strong pain reliever  but just on the off chance I stopped by the chiroprachtor and begged him for an adjustment - half an hour later I was pain free
