Why is there no photo of O.C. Olive Loaf?  I love Olive Loaf!  Well, I guess  I should say "loved" since it has been years since I have eaten it.

Finally got out and did a three-mile jog.  Had a good telephonic call and it looks like the next five weeks are going to be absolute madness, but hopefully fun madness.

Ryacko, both clips were wonderful, especially that held Sunday in Color and Light. And Pamela Myers sounded like a dream with you.

All this talk of Oscar Meyer product has made me want to peruse the meat rack at the grocery store next time I go, and buy some Pickle and Pimento and then see what other oddities I can find.

My first day back at the YMCA. You know, it was really nice to see all the familiar faces of the people that I would always see there.

Last weekend, for my birthday breakfast, I had real barbacoa, made from meat scraped from the cow's skull. Had cheek, sweetbreads from near the tongue and an eye.

If any of you remember the scene in Giant where they dig up the cooked cow's head, prompting Elizabeth Taylor's Leslie to faint in disgust, well, that was pretty much the situation, only we didn't see the skull. Just the meat.

I don't think it is  right to be forced to eat dead  cow head on your birthday

Tomato sandwiches!  Olive sandwiches!  My mother even taught me to make onion sandwiches.  These all sound so great right now.

I never had any of these -  but a nice stuffing sandwich.....

Thanks everyone.  Sorry to be so vague, it's a work related opportunity that I hadn't considered.  Today was just brainstorming and it's a long way from a done deal so I'm not going to say more for now, but at the moment I'm very interested.
