Yahoo is okay....and Excite is okay.....but neither is as convenient or personal as iGoogle can be.

I went with Keith to Best Buy to pick up his new smart phone and looked at the Samsung tablets again. I like both the Galaxy Note 8" and the Galaxy Tab 8". The Tab is more than enough for my needs and less expensive and they had the color I wanted. I almost got it except for one big problem, at least big for me. I don't like the cover for it. My Nook has a comfortable padded cover. I'm looking on-line for something but so far haven't found any I like. You would think Samsung would have more styles than one cover in different colors.

DR Jane - you would be surprised at how many companies make cell phone and tablet accessories. I am sure you can find a cover that is to your satisfaction.

Speaking of Samsung, I just replaced my creaky smartphone today with the Galaxy Note 3. Loving it so far!

I hope so, not that it is urgent. I noticed Kindle had one made of the same stuff as my Nook only it wasn't as nice. Mine has a nice little pocket inside.

I just got a flyer from Trader Joe's today containing ALL MANNER of things pumpkin: pumpkin bread mix, pumpkin croissants, pumpkin yogurt, pumpkin waffles, pumpkin ravioli, pumpkin soup. They even have pumpkin dog biscuits. Is there a TJ's near Larry? Or perhaps he has a better source (freshly baked).

It seems Nook website doesn't have my cover anymore. They do have a plainer version of it and I can see it is a Polyurethane exterior with a sueded lining. Now I know what to look for.

Never had one moment to do a jog today so I'll have to be careful about what I eat tonight - the good news is that for lunch I only had salmon and vegetables, so under six hundred calories.
