I also mowed part of the yard, watered the maple tree and did a little more work outside.

At the end of a wonderful visit with pumpkin cookies and lots of talk and laughter. Larry looks good and looks like he has lost 16 pounds!

You both look good and DR elmore this photo does show off your weight loss. :)

Then I vacuumed the basement and part of the main floor, cleaned all the litter boxes and did a few other things.  Then....I sat down.  I'm not sure I'll do anything else today.  I do need to do some book work for the office. I may do that tonight just to get it done.   We are close tomorrow, but I was thinking about going in to work anyway.  But, if I still have this energy....I may just keep doing projects for one more day.

DR Ben, I am pushing you right out of the photo! I still look like all those 16 lbs went right to my chin!  I haven't had a haircut since a day or two before my affliction on Aug. 7. It doesn't look dreadful in the photo, but it sure feels too long to me.

DR Jane,  Jackson has informed me that he submitted his request to join the group.

Hmmm, so where is he Bruce?

Your hair looks fine, actually more than fine.  I like it this way and I like the shirt.

It's a gorgeous day here today.  It's 68 degrees.  I opened up the windows and put the fan on the furnace on recirculate.  It feels so good to air the house out two days in a row.

Told them I'll play the show.  I'll attend a rehearsal Tuesday and pick up the score.  What the hell.  I'm in the mood.

I hope you enjoy doing it.

I love Directv.  I'm now realizing how many people were using the cheap cable advertising because I no longer see them

I'm enjoying the Cooking Channel.  We didn't have that on our cable.

The quality of the picture is much better than cable.   Think I'll take my cable boxes back to the cable office tomorrow.  I'm sure they are open on Columbus day

I'm sure there will be another lovely picture come the middle of November!

We'll arrive 4 weeks from today, DR Ben.  Not that I'm counting or anything...

Am jealous.  The timing really didn't work for me, but I still wish I could be there

Is Thanksgiving celebrated this weekend or tomorrow?  I keep seeing a mix of the dates so figured I would send good wishes today.

I think tomorrow (Monday) is considered Thanksgiving.

Are you banks and postal service closed?

Ok, time for more left over roast beef and rice ...then it will be time to shut the windows.  The temp falls quickly this time of year

DR Jane, I also thought my niece would be able to go around the lake by bike. However it can get kind of tricky when there are other people on the path (kids, dogs and other bikes especially). Luckily no dogs jumped out at her. That would not have been good (although she was pretty far from them). She did have one problem with another biker. He was trying to pass her. But he didn't let her know that he was there. People have to realize that kid bikers might not be that great. I told her the biker was there. But i think she got a bit nervous and her steering veered. I told her to be more careful since that was dangerous. But really him zooming by was dangerous too. I don't think people who want to race should be on this path since there are so many pedestrians.

I've had experience with bikers like that-dangerous and annoying.  I began walking on the opposite side of the path so the bikers would be in front of me and my dog would be on my left.  Then the bikers would have to pass on my right.  I still walk facing the bikers.  Really annoying are the parents who don't teach their children manners or tell them to move away from people walking.

Truthfully there are not too many riders who want to go super fast. But it's super tricky navigating around dogs, kids and other bikers even for me. Dogs and kids can be unpredictable. I guess a lot of people think they know their dogs because they don't seem to worried when a bike goes by.

Here you can go either clockwise or counterclockwise. And there is only one path.  I always go counterclockwise (so i drive on the right and i am on the far side of the lake). Most bikers go clockwise, which i think is dangerous. At certain parts you are driving very close to the lake and at certain points it is very steep.

I brought my camera again today. I was trying to get a picture of the lake, the trees and the bike path. But it wasn't easy to get the bike path and the lake in the same picture. :(

At least Halloween won't be so dark. I'm really hoping that this wonderful weather continues. It was another amazing day today. So sunny and around 70F.

Like children even good dogs can move suddenly.  Older people can lose their balance.  Do you ring a bell or call out when passing people?  I find a bell easier to hear/pay attention to.  You have polite riders if not many are zipping past other people and bikers.

Did you get any photos worth sharing?  Even if the path and the lake aren't together we will have more of an image of where you go.

I am getting exhausted just READING about what DR CILLA LIZ is doing today.  I have to take a rest.

My car will NOT start, so it will have to be towed to the shop tomorrow.....

The second half of the complete Abbott and Costello came in at the library. I'm afraid I'm overdosing.
