Back from a productive rehearsal, after an initial annoyance when one of our cast didn't show up - said cast member never bothered to even look at any of his subsequent e-mails about the schedules - he had the very first one, when we hadn't settled on the Sunday rehearsal.  Every one after that had Sunday on it and there were at least four reminders sent.  He arrived ninety minutes late and then I had to take the next hour and put him into the number I'd just finished blocking.  He wasn't happy at the beginning, nor was I, although I was patient and calm and nice about it.  Hopefully, e-mails will be opened and read after this.  I then did the opening of act two and got the positions set for another group number, and with the exception of one solo and one duet and the finale, everything is blocked and I'm just hoping that everyone wrote down their stuff so that I don't have to spend hours redoing things I've done.  I think the next three rehearsals are going to tell the tale in terms of everyone getting these songs in their heads and movement in their bodies.  If, on Friday, when I begin to assemble the various parts into a whole, everyone is on top of everything, then I think we'll be just fine.  If not, then I may have to be a little more insistent.

Okay I tried this 5 times and it finally worked.

I've been lazy and don't do it when I should, probably because I often need a couple of tries to get it to work properly.

I just copied this to my email. I can copy it exactly how it should be, but here you just put the url and the b closer to the bracket. I just had trouble with the spacings.

After that, I drove home, stopped at the donut place and, surprise of surprises, no chocolate peanut butter thing - I swear, they have NEVER been out of it EVER, but the day after I write lovingly about it, they're magically out of it and two hours earlier than I was there yesterday when they had it.  Coincidence?  I don't believe in them.

Then I had a chili cheese and onion omelet and an English muffin and no potatoes.  Now I'm home.  There was a benefit meeting tonight at eight-thirty, but there was no way I was leaving to go, so it's been cancelled and I've told everyone that this coming week I will not be available for anything at anytime, other than Kritzerland and the show.

Yeah for Keith.  Everyone should have a library card

I use mine a lot. Although less since I got an ereader and use netgalley (free ebooks).  I don't buy regular priced books for my ereader. I still request those from my library. But there are so many authors I love that have their ebooks priced under $4. Lots of times I wait until I see a sale.  I do suggest a ton at my library (so basically they buy the books I want).  But there are tons of lesser known authors. And since i have giftcards at amazon and the ebooks are very reasonable i just buy them. Also a lot of the series I read have novellas that come out only as ebooks. So i buy a lot of those (they are usually $1.99-$4.00).

Any Ohio resident can have a card from any Ohio public library. I think I have 6, plus one for Miami University.

I think I can only get a free card from the suburb where I live.  So i belong to a different library than my niece. But I take out books for her. And sometimes my sister takes out books for me (and she often borrows books i've taken out for myself at my library).

When I lived in Ohio, I had ones from Cincinnati, Middletown, Hamilton, and Miami University.  Now, only the NYPL and Library of Congress.

If you don't live in Bexar County, Texas, it costs $30 a year to get a San Antonio Public Library card.

Did you get an apple fritter, or whatever he calls it, instead?

I've never heard of that.  It would still be a savings to me.

But it's only a dollar to get a certified copy at the Bexar County Courthouse :)

I meant regular books. My library's ebook system does not work with kindles.  I wonder though if we can suggest ebooks.

I think I kind of realized that as I was typing.

Finished with my viewing.  I'm really thinking of writing the notes early, scheduling them and then just going to bed early.
