  • Have a REALLY nice day!

I don't mind retirement (like I had a choice), and I don't mind finally getting Medicare (after being disabled for two years); but do I have to keep getting all of the e-mails about assisted living??

;D

Can't you label it "junk mail" and have it sent to your trash file?

Had a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and no fries or onion rings.  There's a package but I don't think I'll have time to gather it up today.  I've been working non-stop doing blurbs for the new release and fielding way too many e-mails about the benefit.

Tuesday evening greetings!  I was E & T all day because I left here about 9am and didn't get back until after 3pm.  Went for a blood test, had my car washed, and shopped at Target for some gift items to donate to Dayton Children's, the hospital where the grantwriters meet.  Then headed to said hospital for our festive luncheon meeting and a good program on organizing your office.  Continued decking the hall when I got home and now I've quit for the night.

Chinese take-out for dinner soon!

I didn't get to sleep until around 3:30 this morning.  I'm feeling it now and spacing out.

I can't keep up with everything today.  We're down to the wire as to including one title in this week's release.  And now we find that two other labels have suddenly joined the party this week - it's utter madness, this craziness.  It used to be that after Black Friday, December was pretty much a dead month for releases - not any more.  The frenzy is insane, no one can afford all this stuff or keep up with it and it's not going to be good for ANYone.

  • Dance, if it makes you happy.

DR John G, I don't have the job yet.  I wish the HHW vibes would work on winning me the lottery so I'd have the funding to restore and record a lot of shows on my to-do list.

We all want lottery vibes, Elmore.

I didn;t know Sheena Easton was still doing concerts.  This is from a few months ago.

You mean the greatest Aldonza in the history of "Man of La Mancha"? Outside of Sophia Loren, I mean.

Send vibes and xylophones for a smooth evening's rehearsal, which I'm hoping does not become contentious.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Of course, you don't have to worry about people who may be loyal to one particular label. ;)

Did you purchase Broadway In a Box DR TCB?

No, but I am now wishing that I had.

I am home. Some days I detest NYC traffic. If I weren't a gimp, i would have bussed to Lexington Avenue and taken the subway right to the York. Instead I had to bus and traffic on Lexington was ridiculous. Luckily, the curtain was held and I arrived at the box office around 7:05.

Our DR FJL was there and it was great to see him.

The show seemed less a theatre piece and more of a club act to me. I didn't dislike it, but I might have liked it more sitting at a table with a drink in my hand. I loved the band.

And the critic for THE SUBURBAN TIMES writes:
Tom Birkeland is the dominating Mr. Potter. And Birkeland dominates the play in the part.  He turns in an excellent job of the hateful old man, one of the American Film Institute’s 100 greatest villains.  It’s been a long time since Birkeland has graced Tacoma’s boards with his talents; it’s nice to have him back.

Bravo, DR TCB!

From DR Jennifer:
Quote
No (my mom has read them all). But I did see the movie

Was it funny?  The books are funny, at least until they became repetitious.  I should have stopped reading before I read the 15 book.

It was a while ago that I saw it. But I think it was funny. I know my mom really likes the series.
