I think the new focus of Major Crimes was pretty interesting.  And I'm starting to warm up to the lead character more and more. Not sure yet what I think of the new female detective Sykes. So far she's sort of getting on my nerves.

I believe she was written to be irritating.

I agree, she had much to learn.

I thought this behind-the-scenes shot was fun!

I was on many sets as a little girl, but never on this one. Of course, I would have had to have been very, very little indeed.

Oh, I also saw the doctor today about the nosebleeds.  He adjusted a couple of my meds and said those events aren't as serious as they seem.  I told him that's easy for him to say.  He also referred me to a new cardiologist who's in the same practice with Richard's.

Nosebleeds may not be serious, but they are certainly inconvenient! Glad to hear you'll have a new cardiologist.

DR Kevin enjoy your beautiful weather while it lasts.

Unless there is a delay in the arrival of our snow Keith expects us to be snowed in tomorrow.

I never used to mind being snowed in, but it really depends on your circumstances. What I did mind was having to crawl out the third storey window to get snow off the roof. Ugh!

Let's hope Singdaw gets lots of sweaters for Christmas. And doesn't have to shovel much snow.

I'm trying to remember my Facebook password so I can change it, just in case I was one of those password was stolen.

Anytime I change a password like that, I e-mail it to myself so that I don't have to remember it or write it down.  I just have to check my e-mail.  It works for me. :)

At work, I have an Excel spreadsheet with the vendor names, URLs, my screen names and passwords.  My predecessor created it and I continue to use and update it.  For new passwords, I just randomly type into the password box on my spreadsheet and then copy that when I create a new account at a new website, so that it's completely random.

So this could be a password of mine:  "jt5uhoerhg9yh".  How is anyone going to figure that out?? :D

Thursday evening greetings!  It's been a busy day, getting ready for book group tonight and doing the errands I had planned for tomorrow when we expect to be snowbound.

Oh, I also saw the doctor today about the nosebleeds.  He adjusted a couple of my meds and said those events aren't as serious as they seem.  I told him that's easy for him to say.  He also referred me to a new cardiologist who's in the same practice with Richard's.

Good news about the nosebleed situation and good luck with the new cardiologist!

My yahoo email often makes me change my password which is a big pain because I forget how to change the password on my Nook so I can see my email there. I have begun saving my yahoo password, guess I should save others from now on.

Yes.  It's mindboggling that there can still be people out there who are so dumb as to think that's how to come up with a password.   They really are asking to be wiped out.

Hi everyone! The computer and Internet are up and running. I cannot find which box has the keyboard, but the on-screen keyboard will suffice for now. Yesterday was the first storm of the season. I am quickly getting up to speed on the arcane rules of street parking during "snow emergencies." The wind chill overnight and tomorrow is expected to be between 10 and 20 below zero. Welcome to Minnesota!   :)

Almost makes our cold front seem warm.

JOB FINDING VIBES!!!!!

We're going to have a warm front this weekend...it will get up to 20 degrees

I've got several schemes and basic patterns that I use for creating passwords, but I never thought of that!  It's genius, DR George!  :)
(I use a spreadsheet, too, innocuously named.)

I guess she sort of grows on you. She was nice enough.  It just seemed sort of incomprehensible how anyone could just burst into a room and announce private case business in front of whoever happened to be in the room. It just made the character seem stupid.

Or they really need something simple to remember, but that is a bit too easy-lol

The Sound of Music has started!

:'(  I can't watch it until later this evening.  I have to leave work now to work concessions for a local play.  I didn't realize what was on TV when I signed up for it.  Oh, well.  I have BOTH of my DVRs recording it, just in case!

Be back later.

Okay, they've caught me. Audra back phrases too much, and there's not enough gravitas from her, but the show's caught me. Only a major misstep could make me dislike this production.

According to Goodreads I have read 143 books this year and am 4 books ahead schedule to reach my goal of 150 books.  If I make it to 150 books I will be very surprised.

I had better go read.

Another nutty day.  Fell back asleep, printed out orders, ate a chili cheese and onion omelet and no potatoes, picked up packages and dealt with yet more drama this afternoon.  We'll see how that all plays out but hopefully it will be fine as I don't really have to deal with most of it.

Just get a bunch of really short books. You'll make it ;)

The good thing about all of these reviews and photos (besides stroking my ego) is that people who have never seen me on stage before are suddenly buying tickets for this play.

That's great!

Sorry, I agree with Maria :)

That is because you like beards.  Mr. Barrymore managed to become one of AFI's 100 Top Villains without having a beard.
