Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Today, I worked concessions for what turned out to be two performances each of two different shows!  Olympia Family Theater was performing "Lyle, the Crocodile" at South Puget Sound Community College's Black Box and Studio West was performing their ballet production of "The Nutcracker" on SPSCC's Main Stage (the Washington Center for the Performing Arts schedules performances there and handles the ushers and concessions for them...although school productions also happen there and actually have priority for the spaces).

Fortunately, they staggered their starting times and their respective intermissions did not occur at the same time.  That would not have been fun.  AND there actually were four concessionaires scheduled at the same time (two for each show), but we all shared the same concessions area, so we pretty much all worked for both shows.  Since it's all under the purview of the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, it's all the same till.

While one of the later intermissions was just starting, I got a call from our very own TCB and our friend Chris, who is the Managing Artistic Director of Tacoma Little Theatre, where our very own TCB is performing in "It's a Wonderful Life," which I saw last week.  Chris asked if I could usher tomorrow.  They really must've been in a bind to call me in Olympia to usher in Tacoma.

I was just planning on staying home, doing laundry and watching TV, so I said yes.  I'm going to see "IaWL" again! ;D

Saturday afternoon greetings!  After a nice sleep-in, Richard and I went to the craft show/bazaar at the local senior center and out for lunch.  Rob and Mary Linda were here when we got home, retrieving their Christmas decorations that reside in our basement.  Richard and I are now in for the evening and looking forward to the SOUND OF MUSIC re-broadcast.

I was able to rerecord this and it worked!  I'll put together the DVDs within the next couple of days and send them out very soonly.  I am now able to have both the show and the "making of" special on the same disc!  Just to confirm, John G., Vixmom and Ginny asked for DVDs.  Anyone else?

Fans of  SHERLOCK should look at this.

According to this site for fans the show will return to the US on January 19th while IMDB & other articles I've read say January 1st.

SHERLOCK - The Complete Series 3 on Region 2 DVD will be released in England on January 27.  I've pre-ordered it. :D

If I recall correctly, the song Rainbows was used in the recent Marry Me a Little revamp.

That is correct.

Interesting. I didn't know they'd revamped it. Then again, when I first did it, we added things, thanks to Mr. S., that at the time were still in the trunk, but now are out there for anyone.

Yup...the New Cast Recording is available.

perhaps  I am a grinch or just poor but I cannot imagine spending $15,000.00 for a dog

But if you had too much money, then you might consider it.

Poor, George, I volunteered him to usher for my show tomorrow.

Don't feel bad, Tom.  I agreed. :)
