OMG! Part of the roof of the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in London has collapsed and killed several during a performance this afternoon of "The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime."

Joshie and I were just PM'ing about orchestration books. He thinks I should write one and he says: it should be called "What Fresh Hell Is This? - A guide to getting in and out of sticky orchestration situations"

I can't imagine anyone wanting to read it.

I'm more concerned with the memoirs - like not getting sued for slander- and the BABES IN TOYLAND history.

Yes it's receiving major, constant coverage on the news channels here. It is a very old theatre of course. No fatalities reported but many serious injuries.

From last night's posts:  Thank you so much to Sam and also to vixmom.

vixmom - Thanks for your other note as well.
(I don't know that Dylan understands, as Toby's been away temporarily in the past.)

It's going to be 70 degrees in DC on Sunday, the day I leave for Buffalo.  So I guess I'll feel foolish wearing my big winter jacket.  I'll have to squeeze it into my luggage!

Thank God! Some money has come in. I'm still waiting on the 2013 royalties check from my publisher, but it's nice to have something in the bank besides pennies.

Great news!!!!
