DR Jane, I am awed by what Bryan was able to do last night!  When are you coming to Ohio to visit him?

Hopefully in the spring.  It is hard since he doesn't know his schedule too far ahead.  We would like to visit Craig then go see Bryan, with a couple of stops to see you and our friends in Kentucky.

Richard and I just decorated the shortbread cut-out cookies that I made on Saturday.  Tomorrow we're going to Lima by way of the turkey farm to pick up Wednesday's main course.  I'm looking forward to the outing and being away from the kitchen for a while.

Keith didn't get beer.  He received beautiful bottles of vodka & vermouth.  I guess he will have to start drinking martinis again.

Well, I need to leave work and brave the parking lot and aisles of Costco.  I was just going to get some diet Pepsi, but my friend Margo called and asked if I could look for some Mr. Clean White Erasers.  I said sure.  I have a couple of DVDs that I need to get to her anyway, so I won't have to make a separate trip for that.

One of the DVDs is "The Sound of Music," which today I FINALLY mailed to John, Ginny and Vixmom...sorry about the delay.  Let me know when/if you get them!

Many thanks, kind sir.

Well I am completely satisfied with the winner of THE SING OFF - although my favorite group was sent packing last week.  I like NOT having votes from the home viewers.....the judges are really good, so they know what they are talking about.

My favorite parts of the show were the 98 Degrees reunion and Jewel singing with Nick Lachey.....oh and Pat Benetar.

Why would you brave Costco just for those two products?  Don't you have other supermarkets in your town?

George, you are much more organized than me. I doubt I'd have the time to get to a post office for another couple of weeks.

I guess the TOD is difficult for so many of us, because we are basically all unselfish people here on HHW....

I guess I would like a new car....my old one is fine and still running like clockwork....but I have had it for 10 years....so I would like a change.

My beard doesn't look as nice as the one DR TCB grew on his face - but I will post a photo next week to indicate the progress I am making.

Every time I click between 3....5 to reach page four, I have to laugh.  When I finally discovered it, I figured I was probably the dimmest bulb in the bunch.  So, I didn't say anything about it online, and a couple months went by before someone else discovered it and suddenly I wasn't so stupid after all.

Good morning, all.

In Oaxaca, Mexico, this evening is known as Noche de los Rabanos, or Night of the Radishes. How will you be celebrating?

I have a friend who went to the radish festival there once.   I do have radishes in the fridge....guess I'll eat some

I'm having a German take on it. Pumpernickel, butter, Swiss cheese and salted radishes.

Boy, am I dumb!  I kept looking at that wondering what pumpernickel butter was.

That probably sounds weird that I don't know for sure if the beard is going to be shaved off,  But trying to stand up, lean against the sink, and shave off the entire beard is a major production.

I'm still not in the mood for Christmas.  I'm going to my parent's house at noon tomorrow.  It will be a low key family get together, no stress expected, just not into it. The wind chill advisory goes until noon so I think I'll wait until after that to go.  That should give me time to wrap gifts

The spirit did not hit either, too overwhelmed with it all starting before Thanksgiving.  :(
