Topic of the Day:

Most anticipated:  The Tony Awards...of course!  Otherwise, I usually watch and (or record for other people) The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes and The Emmy Awards.  I don't usually watch any other awards shows.

The Michigan game doesn't start until after 10:00 p.m EST?

Yep - that's why I'm not going to Lima tomorrow!  However, if Michigan plays like Cincinnati did, I'll go to bed at halftime...

Well, it's time for me to leave and usher for a show.

Be back later!

Finished the Hamlisch documentary, which was good.  Not sure what I feel like watching and/or doing now.

Larry, I forgot to add my congrats on the possible Holler reading. I hope it happens so we can trek on over to York and see and hear your music! It will be an excuse for an HHW get together.

What and where is York?

I agree that any excuse for an HHW gathering is good!

If it's like the usual York readings, it will be in the late afternoon around 3:00. Then we could all head for a nice restaurant and par-tay!  I'll be ready for a drink!

Did you mention and a date and I missed it?

No dates mentioned.  It's a possible reading in 2014!

VIBES VIBES VIBES  that possible becomes probable becomes so

Before that, I reclaimed the counters in my kitchen and the dining room table from the sprawling clutter that had taken over.

Am back from a trip to El Paso. Boy, is that drive long. I put more than 1400 miles on the rental car in the past two days.

One of the two books on CD I listened to was James Garner's autobiography. Becuase of the mentions of "Victor/Victoria" in it, I decided to watch "First a Girl" with Jessie Matthews, which was one of the bases for the Julie Andrews version.

Interesting that Garner says he was originally interested in playing the role of Toddy, which Robert Preston played.

I did not realize he had an autobiography -  I always liked him  ever since I was a girl and I saw his movies Support Your Local Gunfighter  and Support Your Local Sheriff and then he had a TV series Nichols  which i also loved

If anyone who has a kindle wants to try a book in the New Adult genre. This is one of my new favorite authors.

This book is free today. Hopeless by Colleen Hoover:

http://www.amazon.com/Hopeless-Colleen-Hoover-ebook/dp/B00AQ3K8IU/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1388275879&sr=1-1&keywords=hopeless+colleen+hoover

I just happened to have my Kindle hooked up to my computer and I "bought" it (free is always good)!  I don't know when I'll get to it, but I have it.  Thanks, Jennifer.

I don't know if it will be your kind of book. But it was one of my favorite reads of 2013.
