And, the snow has arrived, along with Page 5.

When I was in college I transferred from Kansas to Iowa after my sophomore year.   I drove back to KU to visit one year and on the way back I got stranded in Kearny, Mo. I waited really longer than I should have to pull off the interstate, but there was just no going any farther.   I went from hotel to hotel trying to find a room, but everything was full.....except the Kam Ron Inn.  I had a room, the phone was down the hall, the closet was the pipe coming off the water heater and there were holes in the walls that were covered with duct tape.  But, it was clean, it was warm and dry and it had a TV.  The next morning the show was up to my knees but I was able to get the car out and get on my way.  I did hear on the news that someone was hit by a car on the interstate that night. I was glad I stopped when I did

I hate those really deep shows, too.

When I came out of the grocery store this afternoon, the Western half of the sky was bright blue and the Eastern half of the sky was a gray snow sky.  Since the two skies met right above me, I got snowed on for a few minutes.

So, Bryn Terfel is finally doing Sweeney and with Emma Thompson as Lovett. Sounds like fun, even if Elmore's favorite director, Lonny Price, is back in charge. Thankfully, no Victoria Clark in the cast.

I'm not looking forward to the weather, though.   I understand there's a chance of a storm Sunday night and Monday in DC and NY.   I may have an answer for today's topic a week from today!

Lonny Price does well by Sondheim; otherwise, I believe, he knows the living Sondheim will kick the living crap out of him. I'm sure this production will be similar to the broadcast he directed with Lupone and George Hearn, and it isn't bad.

Garage door is fixed.  They also replaced the springs.  One was starting to go and the other looked ok, but it made more sense to just replace them.  If the spring goes you can't open the door at all. More money than I wanted to spend, but it's pretty much as good as new now and has a 5 year warranty

Listen carefully; the script is outrageously funny with hysterical throwaway lines.  I think Christian Borle is amazing. I've thought so since SPAMALOT, but he's so wonderful!

I hope they broadcast it. I like both performers.

Started watching Under the Dome today. Like the changes made to the novel in many cases, but I'm awfully glad I'm not watching this with commercials.

I think you are probably right DR MBARNUM......but a few emails to let them know how we feel can't hurt.

I am sure the reply will be along "we do not comment on personnel issues" lines, if I get a reply at all.

It is pretty disgusting after all she's done that she is still getting so much money!

Interesting that the Olympics are starting early Thursday morning (eastern time) and yet the Opening Ceremonies are only on Friday morning. I think this is dumb.

It's 9 hours difference between Sochi and Eastern time zone. So i guess all Olympic events will be over by 11pm Sochi/2pm Eastern.

Finally got around to reading the horror story that you've endured at the library, DakotaCelt. May you never face the likes of that again.

I've worked for people with great ideas but they went about implementing them in the worst way possible. And the results were disastrous.

Here is the movie for Callie Ricky Boo.   There is a button in the upper right of the screen when you watch your movie that says "Share" if you click that it goes on your time line.  Then you click, and when it opens, go to options and get the link and post it here!

Yes, but you didn't make the movie, so everyone will understand.  I'd love to see it
