Good morning, all! I slept late and this morning I had a lot of emails concerning the ROBERTA recording sessions to deal with. Oy!DR TCB, I like your new avatar, and I don't want you retiring from acting. There. I've said it. I cannot force you, cajole you, or bribe you, nor do I wish to. I simply think it would be a loss to you and the community. You're too young to retire. The best biography i've read lately is Paul Kildea's Benjamin Britten: A Life In The Twentieth Century. I like biography, autobiographies not so much, particularly the me-me-me self-serving ones. Some of the other ones that I liked very much:Charmed Circle: Gertrude stein & Company (Mellow)Jane Austen: A Life (Tomalin)Act One (Hart)George Gershwin: His Life and Work (Pollack)Secret Muses: The Life of Frederick Ashton (Kavanaugh)Marie Antoinette:The Journey (Fraser)
