Tomorrow, I have an actress friend and two of her actor friends coming over to my house to read aloud my new 3-person stage play.

This is a Hollywood story that I've been wanting to tell, in one form or another, for over 30 years.

I'm wondering how my dog, Chester, will react when the actress arrives tomorrow.

Chester used to be her dog (for 3 years), but he didn't play well with her other animals, so she and her husband gave him to my wife and I.

Chester has not seen his former owner for over a year.  It will be interesting to see what happens.

Where's Lucille Ball when you need her?

This is a question I ask myself everyday.

We need dog reaction video DR DRUXY.

Is your play about an actress who worked with Roger Corman and was killed by her own son?

Good morning, all! I slept too late. When I got out of bed, I thought the clock said 8:45, and I thought, that wasn't so late. It was actually 9:45, and I slept far too long. I don't have much to do today, but it's all centered about the apartment. It's time to launder the bedding, finish the choral arrangement orchestration.

DR singdaw, I hope you are okay. Oral surgery can be painful, but you've been through the war. Speaking from experience with periodontal work and my six months of gimpdom, I hope the pain meds are fantastic and of the highest quality!

Friday morning greetings!  Blustery and spring-like here in SW Ohio today, but we survived the tornado watch last night.

I'm getting ready for my midday appointment with my cardiologist.  Looking forward to getting the results of my Feb. 4 stress test.  Paramedic Rob assured me that if it had shown anything suspicious I'd have heard from them before now.

Very excited to read the title and details of the book.  What is even more exciting is that it is NOT a dystopian book about young people....that trend will soon hopefully bite the dust for a decade or so.

I hope not. I am obsessed with dystopia.

No, the play is not about Susan Cabot.

Actually, my (published) screenplay, MATRICIDE, was inspired by Ms. Cabot's murder.

DR Elan, thanks for your post about Erv Raible. So many of my FB friends were posting nice comments about him and I had no idea what he did or who he was.

Yes, I find that I'm losing it more and more as the years go on.

Susan, as you may know, was once a publicity client.

And now it's in the dryers.

Boy, everybody and his mother wants to come to the sessions this week. I have to be exclusive because:
  1. I don't know the size of the space; the studio is new to me.
  2. I want nothing to upset my three-time Grammy winner producer.
  3. I love my cast, but who knows where the wild card lies.
  4. I want everything to go smoothly.

From DR Singdaw:

Quote
Oy!  Well, today was a day. I had a dental appointment at 8:30am, which was supposed to be a simple prep for a crown. It turned out there was decay going down into the roots - the tooth had to be removed. Despite the dentist's best efforts, he couldn't get out the roots. So this afternoon, I was in an oral surgeon's chair. He ended up having to make an incision in my gum, as well as removing part of my jaw bone, in order to get those roots out. I'm not in such great shape right now, but I have some wonderful drugs.

OMG this sounds horrible!!!
