Christain Bale's comb over was hysterical.

Is he the one with the big pot belly, too?

Leonardo saying "This is the greatest company in the world"  in The Wolf of Wall Street sounds a lot like  "I'm the King of the World" from Titanic

My favorite part of Nebraska was June Squibb.  If you get rid of the swearing, she's just like most of the women I know her age.

This is the first year in ages where I've seen most of the nominated films, thanks to the DGA screeners.  The only major film I didn't see, I think, was 12 Years a Slave, and as brilliant or good as it may be, it is just not my kind of film.  Of the ones I saw, the clear winner, for me, was Philomena.  The Academy, however, will never respond to a film like that over the likes of Slave and Wall Street and Hustle.  Gravity, which I enjoyed, is not in the league of Philomena, but it may just win the prize this evening.

I have talk to several friends in the industry who have not wanted to watch 12 YEARS A SLAVE, which is why I think that GRAVITY will probably win the top award.

I feel like everyone who can vote for Best Picture should have to watch all of the nominated films.

I didn't like how he looked. It was sickly and must have been so unhealthy for him to lose that much weight. You almost couldn't recognize him.

Well, he was supposed to look sickly.  Not sure how else you would play that part without losing the weight
