For me, the only thing that can control and eventually wipe out that post-cold cough (which can go on for WEEKS if you let the hacking get to the stage where it's a habit) is Robitussin DM. Couple of hits a day, and of course enjoy some lozenges whenever!

I just spent a wonderful two hours revisiting and reacquainting myself with LI'L ABNER, via the film. A true delight. Tomorrow I shall get out the score and recordings to solidify this LI'L reunion with one of my earliest favorite shows.

well listen to Wicked a couple of times, and watch Frozen a couple of times, and then Princess Diary movies, the four Twilight movies and maybe a couple of showings of Mean Girls.... and you too can be a teenage girl!

MUCH! I read the book before the musical came out which is why I didn't buy tickets when I could have gotten them cheap in previews--- it wasn't until former DR William F Orr gifted the Vixter with the OBC recording (Christmas? her birthday?) that we took any interest in the show -- we went to see it the day before the Republican Convention started in NYC - the original principals were still in the show except for Joel Grey and we LOVED it

Tomorrow I am singing a solo in church (Bernstein's "Simple Song"), and then a big service and concert in the afternoon at a different church.

It was a beautiful day out today - after I got home from the soup kitchen Vixdad took me to the IHOP for lunch - I had one of their new crepes, chicken, bacon, onions, white cheddar and I had them substitute mushrooms for the tomatoes

I only had a half order and it was too much --- it was good but not as good as the chicken crepe with spinach and hollandaise sauce

what I mean to say was that it was a beautiful day and that after that heavy lunch I sat down int he recliner with a cup of tea prior to running errands and ended up taking an unexpected nap - I didn't wake up until nearly 6:30 and so missed the nicest day out that we have had since October
