Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both Ritt Large and Writ Large, and now it is time for you to post until the writ large cows come home.

From yesterday:

Thanks Jennifer, Jane, Fred, Mike and Vixmom.  I had a little coughing fit, but I bought some Halls from concessions, which helped.

And ChasSmith, I'll look for the Robitussin DM.  I didn't get to the store to get some Ricola.

Last night, I ushered for Harmony Sweepstakes, an a cappella contest.  The winning group goes onto the nationals in San Rafael, California in May.  Most of the groups were pretty good...only a couple were obviously not as experienced as the rest, but they didn't embarrass themselves.

I do have to say that I was surprised at the winners.  They won the big three:  best group, audience favorite AND best original arrangement.  I didn't feel that they were the best group, either by performance or energy.  Oh, well.  That's horseracing.

Today, I get to sleep in (and I will).  I'll watch some TV.  Tonight, I'm working concessions for the Olympia Symphony Orchestra.

I'll bring my Kindle to read in the lobby during the show. ;)

Good morning, all.

It is a Sunday, but not a day of rest for the likes of me.  No sir.  It is a day of getting things done.

But first, some coffee and ketchuping.

Here we go again.  We have a winter storm warning for tonight and tomorrow.  3-6 inches of snow expected in the immediate metro area and more outside.   Very unusual for March!

I'm glad I took a chance and ordered CONRACK, because I didn't even remember knowing about it back in the day and the name meant nothing to me.

The amazing thing about this late winter storm, which I assure you NOBODY needs, is that they've cancelled it for us up here.

Yay!!!!!

Sorry, DR KevinH.    :)

Sunday morning greetings!  Today is a Sunday-off-from-Lima for Fr. Richard, so we're going to church with Rob and Mary Linda.  We will definitely be home by 3pm to see Michigan and Michigan State in the final basketball game of the Big Ten tournament - Go, Blue!

It's supposed to stay south of us, but we may have some snow showers this evening.  Stay safe and warm, DR KevinH!

Excellent!  (54 Below is doing APPLAUSE in April, by the way.)

That "firm as Gibraltar and shaky as Jello" bit is such a perfect coming together of music, lyric, moment, star, direction - and on top of that the costume too, or at least it seems so in that clip.

Happy Purim, to those who celebrate the Jewish holidays.
