I have had a very busy week. Wae-Ling and I hiked every day. I am tired.

Busy but fun :)

I bet her sister wishes she had gone hiking with you instead of riding her bike.  Did you ever find out how she had such a bad crash?

I know this is a dumb question.

If you have an Android tablet, do you also have to have a WiFi internet connection to use it, or is it built in to the browser?

On Saturday, I forgot to mention the songs from THE NIGHT THEY RAIDED MINSKY'S - which I was very happy to receive on its Kritzerland release - along with GAILY, GAILY.

She swerved to miss another bike rider coming out of a tunnel.

I hope you are feeling better today, DR George.

Thanks, Kevin and Larry!!  I am!

Good to read that.

That's one I missed out on.  My pre-Kritzerland era, conincidentally enough that it is abbreviated B.K.  Maybe not a coinkydink.

I can understand that. I'm sure Wae-Ling appreciates it, too.

I'm guessing one of them was on the wrong side of the tunnel bath :(  I guess it could have been worse had they crashed.

Yes, continued good health vibes to you DR George.

I was going to recommend a cough syrup called Buckley's that I used to find all over NYC, but apparently is now hard to find in the US for a reasonable price.  It did taste awful (pine needle oil, I think) but it sure did work better than anything else except for Delsym.

We enjoyed visiting Rob and Mary Linda's church and then taking them out for lunch.  Made a quick stop at Mom's to drop off a prescription and a St. Patrick's Day cupcake and got home in plenty of time for the basketball game.  MSU trounced Michigan, but there's always March Madness - Go, Blue!

And now, I'm off.  I was just going to stay home before I had to work concessions later this afternoon, but my sister called, asking if I would help move a curio cabinet.  So, I have to help move a curio cabinet.  But first, I'll take a shower, then get dressed, then leave to help her.

Be back later!

Had a great time listening to the original cast album of LI'L ABNER today.  I put it on the Big Speakers and cranked it up.  Beautiful.  Still a favorite album.  Played the CD with the extras on it like the "Sadie Hawkins Day Ballet", the inclusion of which is nothing short of a miracle.  Why, oh why (oh why oh) couldn't so much more Broadway orchestral work have been preserved over the years?  The stuff would never have fit on LPs, but how wonderful it would be if they'd at least taped these things for posterity and they could be issued now.

Anyhoo, I'm sufficiently reconnected with the show to appreciate whatever BK posts about the LACC production in the coming weeks.

Now, to reconnect with MOST HAPPY FELLA -- and get my arse back to learning HAIRSPRAY and AVENUE Q.

When I arrived I found her she was lying in bed(fully clothed) with her nieces by her side  vainly trying to persuade her to get up and go to the library

just discovered a new cable channel called El Rey (The King)

It was started by director Robert Rodriguez. They do an original series of Dusk To Dawn based on the movies

"The network distributes reality, scripted, and animated series, movies, documentaries, news, music, comedy and sports programming.[4] Comcast has stated that the network "...prominently feature Hispanic producers, celebrities and public figures..."[6] The network targets second and third-generation Latinos who are often bilingual but speak English as their primary language.[7] The network hopes to succeed at a higher level than prior attempts to service the same demographic because of the commitment from Comcast"

We had errands to do today so we went into town for brunch.  Once of the errands was returning the "personal" (as in second bag/purse/briefcase) carry-on bag Keith recently purchased.  It turns out with United's new regulations the bag is too big.  With the newer stricter regulations the roll on bag I have been using for years may be deemed a couple of inches too big.

Since our last trip and learning many countries weigh the carry-on bags we expected to eventually need something new but now isn't the time to get it.

I also also learned that luggage companies list the dimensions of the bag excluding the wheels to the handle which the airlines include.
