Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a blur, and now it is time for you to post until the blurry cows come home.

Good morning, all! I slept very soundly last night. At 11:00 I turned out my reading light and that's all I remember. I wasn't up once for a bathroom break, and that's a real rarity.

My bathroom, except for the big hole in the ceiling, looks like a cleaner version of the room from last Sunday, and it smells of Pinesol from yesterday's mopping and scrubbing.  For all my complaining about the mess and the cleanup, it was good exercise, and I'm glad my health is good enough to permit that. When the crew comes in to repair the ceiling, I'll know in advance so I can clean out the room and I'll take the opportunity to throw out crap I no longer need.

So, yesterday, I moved my physical therapy appointment to tomorrow, and I will shortly head down to Toyland. I need to print out some lists from Alex Rybeck, and to photocopy from the Cole Porter collections several possible songs for the Cincinnati medley. Joshie asked me to call him after 11:15; he might have a job (!!!) for me, and I'm certainly curious.

Good morning, all.

Today I must set about replacing the cartridge (turntable, not printer) and preparing for an AVENUE Q meeting this evening.

And cleaning mine own bathroom, which is overdue.

And being ready to jump into the fray to order a Twilight Time Blu-ray or three when they go on sale at 4 pm.  Oy.

Coffee!

Wednesday morning greetings!  After 4 days in a row of having to set an alarm and be someplace at a specific time, I'm enjoying a day with nothing on the calendar.  It's raining quite hard in SW Ohio, which makes it a good day to stay home and putter.

Good news from DR ELMORE!

Last night I listened to my three new CD's.  I enjoyed the Patty Duke CD.....too bad her Folk Song album was never released....well I don't think it was ever really mixed either....but she does some nice work on it.

Of course LIL ABNER was great.  Those songs are so clever and fun.....

I listened to about six or seven songs from PARADE and I liked it much more than I thought I would.....I shall listen to the rest of it......sometime.  DePauw is producing it next September, so I thought I should know it.

Has this ever happened to you?

Last night, I dreamed that the phone was ringing, so I really opened my eyes, reached over to the phone next to my bed and answered it; said "Hello".  Of course, nobody was there, and in checking the phone's digital record this morning, no call had come in.

Actually, the same thing happened about a month or so ago.

 :o

I wonder if somebody is trying to reach me from "the other side".

Only if it were a TOY telephone, DR Druxy.  Make sure you don't have one of those in the house!

This is possible DR DRUXY.  We are entering the time when the veil between the fleshly world and the spirit world is at its thinnest.

Maybe it's Barbara Payton.

I have had that dream once or twice, DR Druxy. Don't like it. But then again, I don't like ringing phones.

I've had times when I'm in a deep sleep and I hear something going off and I'm slapping the clock radio till Hell won't have it again and it turns out to be the phone.

Thanks for the good wishes this morning! I hope this means that my period of bad health and little work is making a big turn, but I don't feel I'm over the hump yet. Please keep those good vibes coming!

And greetings from Toyland!

With or without Franchot Tone and Tom Neal?

Yes, she would be a bit upset with me if she read my play.

Good morning, everyone!

Slipping in to say thank you again for all the good wishes for my mom's health. She's doing marginally better, but ICU on a ventilator is fun for no one. As her body clears out the toxins out from before the surgery, things are slowly improving. I hope to have more good news and soon. But truly, thank you all!   :)

Oh yes, and Happy Orthographer's Hump Day, where every hump is spelled correctly.  :P

I attended an open-air unveiling of murals yesterday at our County Administration Building.

The president of our Board of Supervisors addressed the crowd and extolled the virtues of the murals' message (community) and praised all the "involvees" associated with their creation.

"Involvees"?  I was fairly certain this non-word had not entered our vocabulary, and a later check revealed Google's complete and untainted confusion over my query as to a definition of it.

Involvees, indeed (or is this one of those orthographic "humps"?).
