Well, you've read the notes, the notes were in their element, and now it is time for you to post until the elementary cows come home.

Topic of the Day (so far):  in my DVD player from Netflix:  Oblivion, starring Tom Cruise.  That's it for now.

Good morning, all.

Up to feed the critters, but on my way back to bed for at least one more hour of much needed sleep.

The album engineering work sounds hair-raising, but exciting and promising.  Best of luck to BK on today's session.

In celebration of TCB's milestone posting of 40,000

A Song!

You did it! You did it!
You said that you would do it,
And indeed you did.
 I thought that you would rue it;
I doubted you'd do it.
But now I must admit it
That succeed you did.
You should get a medal
Or be even made a knight.

But you're the one who did it,
Who did it, who did it!
As sturdy as Gibraltar,
Not a second did you falter.
There's no doubt about it,
You did it!
I must have aged a year tonight.
At times I thought I'd die of fright.

Congratulations, TCB,
For your glorious victory!
Congratulations, TCB!
You'll be mentioned in history!
Sing hail and hallelujah!
Ev'ry bit of credit For it all belongs to you!
This evening, sir, you did it!
You did it! You did it!
You said that you would do it
And indeed you did.
This evening, sir, you did it!
You did it! You did it!
We know that we have said it,
But-you did it and the credit
For it all belongs to you!

Good morning, all! I still loathe and detest Daylight Savings Time. My body has now got to 6:30am for 7:30, but I suspect I won't be happy with a 7:00 alarm for another 2 weeks.  My sinuses and throat have been a mess forthe past today from all the crap raised by a falling ceiling, and this morning I finally dragged out the neti pot to see of I could wash out my sinuses. I think it's helping and i am very happy it wasn't broken hen all hell broke loose in my bathroom.

I'm off to City Center to pick up the IRMA LA DOUCE job from Joshie. This weekend I will listen to the OBC and work on my Cole Porter arrangement.

TOD:
DVDS:  Vera, Series 1, Disc 2, several Hammer horror films
CD:  Irma la Douce, Roberta, Guy Haines
VCR:  nada

Good morning, all.

Great notes today, BK. It does sound like you are in your element, and we will soon be the happy recipients of your skills and talents.

Rather surprised at all the good reviews for Aladdin, though some of the larger papers are not entirely ebullient.

DR Dan M - loved the poem you posted last night. I love the obvious glory in the working out of the words.
And, of course, I am also glad that you are still with us.      :)
