Actually, I don't think our library spends any of their resources on DVDs. Almost all look to be donated. You will definitely not see any new releases available.

Well, I happen to know that the copy of the Bollywood film GIRLFRIEND (sort of a Lesbianploitation film) was checked out...and never returned.

I have a meeting of our Indo-US group tonight and we each have to inform how much we have done in readiness for next month's Holi event.

Navneet and I are the food committee. I think we have enough done now so that we will not be publicly chastised as we were at the last meeting

I still need to finalize with Star of India on the two food items they are supplying for the event. Will likely do that this weekend....maybe even tonight before the meeting, as I am kind of hungry for some Butter Chicken.

With all the FROZEN commercials, i have to say I find the award winning song really awful, and it isn't helped by Idina Menzel and her ungraceful manner of screaming a song.

Over the holidays, I recorded OLIVER on my friends' DVR (they have DISH, I think). I watched the movie several times, sometimes just for the music, sometimes to watch the dance numbers. For me, it's a transcendental experience when a movie (like OLIVER) has an opening credit sequence or something to that effect, rather than the credits splashed over the start of the movie. It's like entering another world, as it should be.

Watching "I Married an Angel," which really is as bad as Elmore has said it is. All those great Rodgers and Hart songs treated so poorly. All that Nelson and Jeanette at their most humorless
