Bruce "Sherlock" is a keeper.  We recently borrowed the DVDs of the full seasons that included the one hour unaired pilot as part of season 1.  It is interesting to watch that and see the difference in quality between the two and the changes that were made.

Congrats!  I still have to do mine.  Since I always get money back (well, I do, so far), you'd think that I'd want to get it done as soonly as possible.

I just read the following headline:
"Relatives of passengers on board missing flight MH370 grieve after learning via text message that the plane crashed in the Indian Ocean".

Text message! OMG

DR John G. - that guy in the background doesn't look like any bookseller or librarian that I have known.      :)

You've been hanging out at the wrong bookmobiles, Plump Jack.

"Plump Jack"?  Is this a new nickname for "singalong"?

We need to watch last nights "The Good Wife" before I read any spoilers in the news, which I almost did today.

It's actually the name of a fairly expensive wine from California, one I cannot afford.

Season 4 of Downton Abbey has finally come in at the library. Time for me to catch up with the rest of you.

Yes...I don't watch the show, but I read a headline and a bit of an article that spilled the beans. ;)

I found the stories on that episode to be particularly grating. Especially as a spoiler.

Then maybe I won't even read them after I watch the show.  I hope you had already seen it.

But of course!

Well, I don't know if you can call it exactly a church hat, but....     it goes with the theme.     ;D

I picture the DD of DR Laura, the E&T DR Sandra, wearing something more along these lines:

On this date in 1981, Ted Koppel's "Nightline" premiered.  Insomniacs rejoiced.

I could watch the entire season of Downton, if I didn't have to work in the morning. Ah, well, I'll finish it at the end of episode five.

On this date in 1878, the British ship Eurydice sank.  The British said, Oh, frigate!
