ASK BK

The way the music business is working these days do you think you previous labels' business models would still work in today's digital world?

Not Varese.  With the other label, we were heading in the right direction, certainly, and everyone copied us eventually.

Here I had thought I was doing so well and not spending much this month; then looked at my account balance and went into shock!

Guess I shopped a bit more this month than I had thought!

DR Larry, I hope you are feeling better this morning/day!

Thanks! I am having the first day in a week where I'm not feeling that my sinuses are filled with crap, where my throat isn't fuzzy or sore, and my eyes don't ache. Those are all good signs.

I am feeling terribly lethargic and I suspect it's from the big does of Nyquil I took last night. I doubt I'll be doing that again in the near future.

Such a good health report from Elmo...but why do I feel a bit sick at the stomach at the same time?

Ya that Nyquil is not good, unless you only plan on napping the next day.

When I'm too sick to make a hot toddy, Nyquil is it for me.

I charged my new tablet last night, so I am ready to use it anytime it is necessary.  Whenever that may be.

I feel very 21st century now.

Bad news, Jack!  This morning, Bill Gates announced that all tablets are officially, "So last century!!"  Film at eleven.

I watched "Lincoln" last night.

I was dazzled.

Perfect casting down the line, but most importantly, the finest living actor BECAME Lincoln.

I agree, Ron.  Incredible casting throughout.  Especially Mr. Day-Lewis and Sally Field.

Merci beaucoup!

I just received the Hammer Films The Vampire Lovers, which I've never seen. I may watch that tonight. Sheridan LeFanu is one of my favorite writers, a good Dublin boy.

Ah, the Hammer Films, what fun!  I'm not sure if I'm putting into words how they affect me, but they really do create a whole other world for me.  Like someone has dropped you into a world that makes sense and then all the action takes place, and it's all cohesive somehow.

DR ELMORE the Vampire Lovers is indeed a fine film to spend an evening with - if you don't have a copy of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.

DR JRand63, when I'm in the mood for the stylistic sneerings of Allison Hayes, I prefer THE UNDEAD.
