Well, you've read the notes, the notes felt like the Chinese Water Torture, and now it is time for you to post until the Chinese cows come home.

Good morning, all! I think i'm over my malaise of the past week, but I must admit that I'm moving very cautiously this morning. I slept rather well, but I would sure like another hour's worth of sleep.

This morning I will head down to Carroll Studios for an orchestra rehearsal of THE MOST HAPPY FELLA, followed by a sitzprobe with the cast. I don't know if i'll stay for the entire shebang, but i'm looking forward to it.

I am recanting my claims on how well I feel. I'll give myself 30 minutes to see how I feel before i decide if i'll get to the rehearsal or not.

I've got an exciting morning ahead of me:

Load the summer (all-season) tires into the car and drive over to the local Firestone to have them swap the snow tires for those, and also wait while they do the biennial emissions check which I've been putting off, but is due..... today.

It is snowing. And that is supposed to turn into a lot of rain. And it is supposed to snow more Saturday and Sunday nights. Yuck.

Oy!

Sorry, DR Jennifer, but I am SO GLAD we are now out of it.  We're going to get a few rainy days, but it's 50 F and above here now, as far as the eye can see...   for which I am extremely grateful.  Here's hoping y'all won't be far behind.

I am glad that MR BK is through with the clams and can have his pick up session.  I am very excited about this recording because I have always wanted to do this revue, but you can't really tell from the other CD how good the show is.

Rehearsal last night was great....Sharon and I will be fine.  She is a very good partner, if I can keep her from counting out loud!

I also picked up my Guys & Dolls materials from MTI....whew.  I hope to have a cast of about 20, so we shall see.

Sounds like a good plan DR CILLA LIZ.  The pictures you posted on Facebook are interesting.  I think it will work, too.  AND you get a new office!

Great Filichia on Friday. This is the first in-depth look at what the creators of the stage version of Rocky have done and that is his specialty, whether he likes the work or not. And I'm surprised he likes it as much as he does. I'm interested in hearing the score because it's Flaherty and Ahrens, but I'm not won over by the concept just yet, though he makes a strong case for it.

BACK...

With neither emissions nor tires done!

Found the emissions checking equipment down today at Firestone.  Yes, down on my due date.  But they said I'm all right because (ahem) if you read the whole notice (and he circled the pertinent part on mine) you actually have 30 days from that in which to not be considered late and be charged a late fee.  Also, by the time I got there, they had quite a crowd having things done and I would have had way over an hour wait just to get the tires changed.  So, since the tires are in the car taking up space, I'll either call later and see if it's thinned out, or just get up in time to be there first thing in the morning.  Which will be fine.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my morning thus far.
