Slowly.  That is why I am hanging out here.

How many lines do you have?

We were talking about this at the rehearsal today and i was hoping someone would invite me. It was completely unexpected, but i want to see Sierra Boggess in a role (I've only seen her in concert with John Williams' orchestra), I've got several friends in it, and I love the show. Speaking of Sierra, I saw her  sister Summer, a fabulous cellist, at the rehearsal today

Tonight the Vixter and I watched a dvd she received as a Christmas present ;  Jesus Christ Superstar filmed in the UK on the Live Arena Tour - it was set  in modern day.  It was interesting and effective and the Vixter loved it --- I would rather have seen a  toned  down version set in the appropriate time period ... but then again I am still waiting for the final scene when the show  ends

It isn't that I have that many lines, it is just that when Mr. Laurence speaks, he is very loquacious.

I hope Ted Neely isn't playing Jesus.  He is been doing the show for 30 years.

Nope this is Ben Forster, - according to  Wikipedia (the source of all  the mostest accurate information EVER!) "Ben Forster (born April 24, 1981) is a British actor and singer. He won ITV's Superstar competition in 2012.[1][2] As a result Forster played the lead role of Jesus in the revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar in its 2012 arena tour."

The picture below is from the bows -- "Jesus" (Ben Foster) is on the left,  "Judas" (Tim Minchin)  apparently channeling Captain Jack Sparrow, is on the right

Ben Forster's Jesus is such a troll someone should build a bridge over him.

The only time I saw it on stage was a local production - the time period remained intact and it was superbly done

Well, she gets the piano in Scene 7, and she is dead by Scene 12.  You do the math.
