Another foolish thing I can recount is something that happened a couple of years ago when I was meeting some people for the first time. I wanted to make a good impression, but I do not like to shave. Since I do not want a full beard, I must shave. Electric razors do not give me a close enough shave, so I use blades. My skin is sensitive and I can't tolerate daily shaving, but even when I do shave, later in the day the beard starts back. My allergies were acting up and I needed some tissues. The only ones available were Kleenex which get shredded by my beard. When I met these people, I had bits of Kleenex sticking to my face. I looked like the lint trap from a dryer. I felt foolish, and now I try to avoid Kleenex. Unfortunately, that leaves facial tissue that is the consistency of paper towel.
