DR MBarnum, is that the original Japanese version or the "original" US version with Raymond Burr spliced into it?

Not that 29 or 30 really matters, but how ridiculous for a judge to let their personal feelings determine how they vote.  And also how weird to give all but one perfect scores.

I agree, and I mostly find it odd everyone got top scores.

Wonderful photo DR Jrand!!!!!

Thank you DR JENNIFER.  Yes DR ELMORE....and it's politic politics as well....Sharon is the only elected official who was a dance contestant and the judge IS a real judge at the local courthouse...so it was a double whammy!

He only made himself look bad.  I real judge should know how to be impartial-right.

Cole's sister Harper (age 2) wasn't as interested in ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE. She did like the part where, after Sally (played by June Kenney), finds that she has been shrunk to the size of a Barbie doll, she lets our a scream.

Harper thought that was funny, and proceeded to re-enact the scream over and over, and then laugh.

I think this candidate will soon be on RuPaul's Drag Race.  I like how the story ended with a paragraph about him being in a three-way.

I've spent the afternoon working on ROBERTA notes and the Rob Berman notes. I still have this book mess to clean up.

Damn!

DR JEANNE no it is not usual for everyone to get a perfect score.  It was unusual DR JENNIFER.  But there it was, and yes it was a slight to us.

After the first SIX times got perfect scores, I had kind of decided that they had planned to give everyone a perfect score and let the costume and personality numbers decide the winner.

But shortly after the intermission after Sharon and I danced and our first score was 9 - I figured if that was the case, he planned it to just get back at her.  And there was really nothing the other two judges could do except go ahead as planned for the rest of the evening.....30's for everyone....except us.

But yes, I do think it made him look bad.  I don't know if they plan on any changes for next year, and I am not so certain I will bother participating either.

Does this mean the costumes and personality numbers were scored separately?

Started the afternoon off with some folk music.  Last night's episode of THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM featured Peter, Paul and Mary, so I guess that put me in the mood.

Then, not for any programmatic reason, just listening pleasure, have continued with BRUCKNER's 5th (not the flask version).

I looked it up and it is the original-extra cool!  I wish we could have gone.

Yes DR JANE - the dance scores were announced, but scores for personality, costume, and creativity were given among the judges and not announced.

The winning couple had a total of 116 points.

I have to say that I did not expect to win.....but I thought that scores would be more evenly distributed.

Interesting how they do it.  You both look sharp in the photo and I'm sorry you came in last because of the judge.  Imagine how competitors feel when judges do that, something we see time to time, and winning is extremely important to their profession.

ALmost time for MAD MEN.

TAR was most entertaining tonight, although I didn't really want to lose the team we did.  I would say SPOILER except that last week was a non-elimination leg, so this week was certain to include an elimination.

We watched the first episode and the rest were on at the same time we had other shows set to record.  Have they been good?  We want to catch the re-runs.

Have you been watching BELIEVE?  We are in the same situation with that.

I have enjoyed all of the episodes, especially the acting on the show.  Considering what I saw on the previews, I may change my mind about the show after tonight.
