I'm not sure I would want to watch the Cat From Hell.  Cilla, I remember when Nilla went crazy and it is hard for me to imagine you did anything wrong.

From Bruce:
Quote
Back from our dress rehearsal, about which more in the notes.  Then some of us went to El Cholo, which, I believe, is the oldest Mexican restaurant in LA, located about five minutes from my father's old restaurant.  It was fun and the food was excellent, but I still prefer Casa Vega.

We haven't been to the original El Cholo's since shortly after the last big quake.  I am glad it was good.

From DR Vixmom:
Quote
How much do you want to bet that that young lady had  just been chastised for taking a call and failing to find out the prospective patients name, phone number and referral source.

It did cross my mind she was supposed to ask you was calling but do say "WHERE DID YOU GET THIS NUMBER?" is a very odd question.

DR Vixmom I'm not sure why you call it the " dreaded  bone density".  It is about the easiest test around.

Thank you DR George for the birthday wishes for my niece. My sister said that she did not want to go to sleep last night. And that she was sad this morning that her birthday was over.  Both of my nieces think that birthdays are the best days of the year (they even love other people's birthdays).

That is cute and I apologize as I forget to wish her a happy birthday, which she obviously had. :)

Sunday morning greetings!  Fr. Richard excused me from going to Lima today, because I still have relatives in the area and there will be some coming and going here at our house.  Eventually, I will drive my cousin Dan to a hotel near the Cincinnati airport where he will stay tonight.  He has an early flight back to Japan tomorrow and didn't want anyone to have to drive him to the airport at 4am - very considerate of him!

LOL, yes very considerate.  I'm sure with that early flight he also preferred being close to the airport.

DR elmore I'm sorry about the end of an era, but relieved for your dear brother, not the other, that the debts will be paid off.

Tonight is the TAR Finale.  Unfortunately, I don't like any of the teams in the Final Three.

I actually really like one, sort of like another, and dislike one strongly (as a team - they seem like nice people).
The ones I like are Brenchal. The ones I sort of like are the father and son (I find them very competent but just started disliking their attitude when they went all crazy over the U-turn). The ones I dislike as a team are the blondes.  While I would love to have an all female team win. I just find these two to be less than competent. They did well last week. but every other week they have had people help them, lead them and give them the answers. I would be unhappy if they won.

Oh and oddly the finale is on at 7pm here. So don't go read any TAR posts on facebook or message boards because you can be sure some inconsiderates will spoil the ending.

No need to apologize. Thanks for the wishes.

Ditto. And hope they will sell the property now.

Library news.

Good news is they processed the books I was waiting for today (before the holiday tomorrow).

Bad news is they lost the reservation for the one book I desperately wanted to read.

Good news is at least they was only one other reservation on that book.

Hopefully this person will be a fast reader.  I hate when popularish trilogies have their final books come out and people like to spoil them. I just have to hope I don't read anything before I can get and read this book.

Good news also is that they did have another book that I have really really been wanting to read since it came out 2 months ago.

Sometimes I wonder how you don't read more books than I do in a year.  At the rate I'm going this year you might read more than I do :)

I think it is because a) you read a lot late at night or in the middle of the night and b) I often get a book hangover and wait a couple of days in between reading books.

I'm trying to read less at night.  Reading on the treadmill helps.

I haven't been on the treadmill lately and been getting through my books more slowly with company and activities.  Speaking of company.  I need to bake some cookies as we have some coming soon, just for a short visit though and not overnight.

I'm up, I'm up - I was up very briefly at eight-thirty, but I do believe I got eleven hours of blessed and very necessary sleep.

I had sad news from my brother Randy this morning; my dad's 50-year-old company, Piping of Ohio, is no more. Everything was auctioned off last week, and I'm grateful that a company begun to pay for my schooling, since my Dad worried that he couldn't put me through college,  supported my brothers for as long as it did. Randy wrote that the auction did very well, better than expected, and paid off all the existing debts.

I don't know what Lady M will do now, with nothing to bitch at JoAnn about.

Now, if we could only sell that Oho property!

Larry, that's really too bad about your dad's company.  At least the auction did well.

DR ELMORE it is the end of an era.....but it sounds also like the end of the debt.

We tried ST Joseph to sell the property....maybe he should be dug up and planted the other way.

DR JENNIFER spoilers of any kind don't bother me.  I've known the winner of this season's TAR since the beginning.....

You wouldn't mind knowing all about a book before you read it?

My brother used to quote his favorite lines from movies before I saw them.  I finally asked him to stop because he was ruining the gags for me knowing what was coming.  I figure out far too much on my own to begin with.
