Back from the family wedding reception.  Peace and charity prevailed!      8)

Well, for the most part.  The snubs were covert rather than overt.

Which, I guess, is something.       :P

First of all, thanks for the prayers and vibes.   Bob is still in hospice.  He hasn't eaten for three days now.  He's been talking to his wife who passed a long time ago and reliving his life in reverse.  Interesting

The length of time this is taking is really taking a toll on my brother and sister in law.   They did go home tonight and hopefully will try to sleep in the bed instead of just falling asleep in their recliners as they have done when they could get a little time to rest.   They have a really fantastic set up for the families of those in hospice at the hospital there, but it's just very hard.

I haven't gone up there as there really isn't anything I can do. Both my niece and nephew are there.  I don't know that one more person is going to do much.  I try to talk to them every day or at least text that I'm thinking about her.  She's told me there's really nothing I can do.

I was really out of it all week.  I did a lot of yard work and it has been very hot and humid.  I also trimmed my huge pine tree so I can now walk under it.  It really needed a better air flow.  Anyway, I think I may be allergic to it.  I woke up the next morning all swelled up.  I took some allergy meds and that took care of it.  I've stayed in the house most of the time since then

Are you a member of Costco? They have a car buying service. The car will have the best price through Costco -- no haggling.

Good thinking, Laura! I'm not a member, but could easily become one. In fact, I was considering it because I need a pair of prescription sunglasses and their price is much, much cheaper than what I'd normally pay.

I'm pleased to see that Costco's program isn't just for new cars. I may give it a try. I do need to test-drive a couple models first. Buying the Volvo was so easy! Not this time.

Paul had an opening for his mural on Wednesday night. I'm so proud of him.  It's an amazing mural.

Vibes to Cilla and her family. I'm glad you have a good hospice. I'm sure that helps.
