Maybe "Post deleted" is one of those HHW-trademarked catchphrases like "Underpants" and "Will we never get to page 3?"

That was my understanding.      :)

We did end up going OUT for pancakes, and delicious they were.

We then took a walking tour of our neighborhood. It is the largest collection of surviving Victorian homes in the country - over 4 miles worth. The guide was lively and entertaining and crammed a wealth of information into our 90 minute walk. Since it is a gorgeous day here, the whole thing was a delight.

Bk, I'd vote to also include some of the shows with music not performed that often, like the Noel Coward, Billie Barnes and 60's Brit Invasion shows.   :)

If the metropolitan opera closes then Disney will take it over and put one of their shows in it. :-(

Had some salmon and veggies for lunch and it was a nice meeting with our orchestra contractor.

It was torn down over 50 years ago.

We went to lunch at a restaurant we have not been to before.  It is at one of the local breweries that opened a second place on our end of town.  The food was tasty and the decor cute.  There are about 4,000 bear bottles on the wall.  We hope they are secure and never fall off the wall.  We might never have gone had we not been invited to me a friend from my book group and her husband.  I have met the husband multiple times & like him.  This was the first time Keith has met him.

Finished Sneakers and am not motivated to watch anything else right now - probably have to turn on the air soon - it's really hot here.

I just finished reading AMERICAN GODS.  It is a well written, intelligent novel.  I enjoyed my journey though I didn't feel any urgency to know what was going to happen next.  Sometimes I like that.

That was a scary article posted by DR GEORGE yesterday about a director in Houston who decided to do a show HIS own way.  And it sounds like he's been doing it for years.

At least somebody finally stepped in and made him stop.

You'd better hope they never find out about you cutting TCB's song from your G/D show!

On a lighter note, here is one of my TOD favorites - the old ubiquitous Milford Plaza commercial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADZCRZlm4no

former DR William F Orr and I stood across the street and watch them film the final sequence of that commercial  --- could it have possibly been the day we went to see Nine?

Fun commercial.  I can see why you stopped to watch.

How is former DR William F Orr?

I actually just spoke to him on Friday morning he has decided to put in his papers and retire  (he his a University mathematics professor)

asked him what he palnned to  do with all hos free time and he laughed   apparanlty  Joe has been working on  "honey do" list  for several years in anticipation of this event

I have a question about posting

When someone deletes a post does the software make it say

"Post Deleted"

or are you just posting "Post Deleted" and if you are why?

I sometime  write post deleted to keep from messing up the page count if we have already moved to another page

If you  delete a post it just goes away

Please tell him congratulations on his retirement.  If that list isn't too long maybe he will have time to stop in occasionally.

bk, given the kerfuffle with the "Hands on a Hardbody" director, are you worried about future productions of your "Abner" and your changes to the libretto?
