And now I am off.  I hear breakfast foodstuffs, as yet to be determined, calling my name.  I must be polite and answer.  Oh yes I must.

Good morning, all! I did not head down to Toyland this morning. I must get there on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the super's finishing up the ceiling. I am hoping he will be here tomorrow, as he said.

Today I must deal with the ROBERTA liner notes and trim the wordy excesses of the notes from the Man From Philadelphia. I sent him a first draft on the reconstruction of the score that was 3327 words long. His "edit" was 3341 words. I re-edited the piece, got it to 3266 words, and his "edit" came back last night at 3448 words!  Now, I'm not paying the recording bills, but I cannot wait till the yelling begins about keeping word counts down for the recording booklet!

Last Friday, I sent DR Benan email about his current status, and he wrote back:
I'm just swamped at work and I had a tooth pulled a couple of days ago. I'll be around very soon.

Instead of all the speculating, one could easily contact him. That said, i am concerned about DR Dan M.

Oh, DR Jane - I meant the place with all the beer bottles.

But the park is nice, too.

LOL and I gave you a long response too.

I liked the place with the beer bottles even though I don't like beer.

Another beautiful day here in Salem, Oregon, 97301. I just wish I could wake up. Maybe a nap will do the trick.

The pictures of the old Met reminds me of the finale of the movie THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS wherein the cast comes out and sings the title song three years before it was written.....in the Hippodrome four years after it was torn down.   :o

Amongst a box of books on someone's front curb that said, "Take: Free!"      :)

Been busy with work, which is wonderful.  The work for a client with 12 companies needed to be done, and the issues involved have been really interesting.

Ira Levin's son Nick happens to be an excellent composer.  I wonder if they wrote any songs together.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We joined Rob and Mary Linda at their church today, then went to IKEA for lunch and shopping.  We brought home a new sink, vanity, and medicine cabinet for the upstairs bathroom, which they are now assembling.  Tomorrow we'll call the plumber about installing the sink and the electrician for work that needs to be done all over the house.  Oh, and I have to start looking for new flooring for the upstairs bath.
