Well, you've read the notes, the notes called a July a July, and now it is time for you to post until the July cows come home.

Good morning, all! I'm ready for my trek down to Rockefeller Center this morning. I really need my hair cut; it's been seven weeks or so, and both the hair and the time lapsed are too long.

I think I'll head on down to Toyland from there, check on the place, and then head back home. I've got some more trims to make in the recording notes and I'm hoping to have a nice conversation with the Kern attorney.

Good morning, all.

The first cast get-together and read-thru of AVENUE Q is tonight.

For now, some coffee would be nice.  Okay, essential.

Trying for the life of me to recollect what the theme is for this coming Kritzerland show. I honestly can't remember, but even looking at the titles of the songs in the notes, it has got me stumped.

Three hours of sleep and I guess that will be it, unless I can fall back asleep at some point today.

Isn't the theme "songs from off-Broadway"?

Ryacko singing a medley of Skip's songs sounds like it's going to be wonderful. Indeed, the whole evening sounds like a winner.

I think this follow thing on everybody's page is new.Although I don't see it on my own page when I look.

My problem is not that I follow my friends, it is that I can see too many comments friends make on their friend's or group pages.

There used to be a way you could control what you saw re: your friends posts. But when i go to people who have the new follow option I don't see those options anymore.  It's stupid.  I only want friends to be able to see what i post on my wall or their wall.

That's it!!!!   Thanks, DR FJL.

And yes, would love to hear DR Ryacko's "Skip" medley.      :)

Hello Everyone!
I will be off on vacation for the next 3 weeks, but I have loaded 2 new Broadway Radio Shows for your enjoyment.  One of them focuses on New Releases for Summer, including the cast recording of Off-Broadway's Heathers, the SF Symphony recording of West Side Story, as well as some recordings from the vault including albums by Ed Ames and Shirley Jones & Jack Cassidy.

The other new show is very fun, because I got to chat with the talented performer Scott Dreier, who will be performing his show Doris And Me (a tribute to Doris Day) at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood from July 23rd to August 3rd.  Proceeds from the Opening Night Gala on July 23rd go to the Doris Day Animal Foundation.  More information at ElPortalTheatre.com.

I will be back in a few weeks so enjoy the new shows as well as the ones in the Archives!

TOD:  the soundtrack to "Hello Dolly" has been out on LP, 8-track and CD.  It'd be nice if it were re-released with the Overture, dance music and incidental music -- all that was left off the other recordings.

TOD:

Kritzerland has already released my Holy Grail soundtrack which was ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE / EARTH VS THE SPIDER.

Aside from that, I would very much enjoy some B film soundtracks from the 50s, particularly from film noir such as Allied Artists and Columbia Studios put out.

Summer has hit hard and fast here in Salem, Oregon, 97301. It went from cloudy and mid 70s this weekend to an expected high of 97 today.

I think it is supposed to get down in the 80s later this week, which will be easier to handle.
