TOD

Mine score would be for Arnold with a music score by George Dunning and the title song by Dunning & Andrew J. Fenady.

It was sung by Shani Wallis who also appeared in the film

Does anyone here watch the new AljazeeraAmerica news channel? I have been looking at it over the last several days, and I am pretty darned impressed. They really dig into news stories and they aren't all sparkly and pretty and loud like CNN and the others. They had an interesting story on the Jenna 6 (something I'd forgotten all about), and a major bridge collapse that occured some years back which killed 13 people (I forget where). This story was in connection with a story on the countries infrastructure and how very many bridges are in need of repair.

They just seem to report the news, without taking sides.

I hope they continue on this even keel of news reporting.

I have also heard that BBC news is quite good, but I have yet to check it out.

TOD part 2:

When I was a kid, I would get out my tape recorder and record the title music from all of the old Universal (and Universal-International) monster movies from the 1930s through the 1950s. I still have it on cassette, but would love to have a good recording of all of those on CD.

Speaking of BBC, I have been watching a very funny program called ALMOST ROYAL. Quite hilarious.

DR Ron and DR Jennifer (or anyone else), are you watching this season of BIG BROTHER? If so, any thoughts on the contestants?

Yes, I am watching.  Right now, I'm a fan of Caleb, not so much of Frankie, but we'll see, and I find Devin absolutely out of his mind trying to run his alliance.

I like Joey a lot.

Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and, with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath.

This made him a super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis

DR Ron Pulliam,

I cannot remember which one is Joey. Is he the John Travolta look-alike? If so, I like him.

I like looking at Devin, but he is playing probably the worst game in BB history. I suspect he will be gone very, very soon. I also like Victoria. Frankie really ruined his game by nominating her, I think.

TOD:   Maurice Jarre's wonderful score to "Resurrection".  I understand that the rights belong to Universal France, but who knows for sure whether any release is forthcoming?

Here is a sad story. Popular television actress Suzanne Salman dies when a mortor shell explodes near her home in Damascus, Syria.

I got an oil change for the locomotion machine this morning that included new windscreen wipers and a replacement brake light.

Now it just needs to be washed....perhaps tomorrow.  I also have a kit that will help me clean my headlights and make them LIKE NEW.

I watched Act Two Scene One of Steel Magnolias last night....it was very good.  The director forgot to bring the sound cues with him, so I didn't get to hear them....maybe another time.

Well MR BK released Attack of the 50 Foot Woman many years ago......and it still sounds great.

SO:  I shall have to read some other DR's choices.  I thought of a couple, but in checking at AMAZON, they have been released on CD....so.....

Do you mean Puppet People, DR Jrand63?  I could be having a brain fart, but I don't remember a CD of 50 Foot Woman, and I'm not finding one.

Bruce do you get a traditional flat tostada or one in a bowl?  Keith's favorite dish is some kind of tostada salad in a bowl.

I was going to go for a walk this morning as it will be too hot this afternoon.  I didn't have time to do so and shower before the window cleanser arrived this morning so I dusted and cleaned instead.  I'm glad I didn't walk, they were half an hour early.

I think this follow thing on everybody's page is new.Although I don't see it on my own page when I look.

My problem is not that I follow my friends, it is that I can see too many comments friends make on their friend's or group pages.

There used to be a way you could control what you saw re: your friends posts. But when i go to people who have the new follow option I don't see those options anymore.  It's stupid.  I only want friends to be able to see what i post on my wall or their wall.

I know.  I admit sometimes I see interesting things my friends comment on but the rest of the time I would rather not and it just adds more junk to my wall.
