Happy birthday, Kitty.

Thank you.  I would have wished her a happy birthday on FB but Craig has shut his account.

Is there an echo in the house??

Actually, Kevin, you can even remove your posts after the day is locked.  That would really screw things up, but it can be done.

Topic of the Day:

Two soundtracks that have been released on vinyl albums, but not on CD:  "1776" (I would love it from the more complete laserdisc release and not just the "directors cut" DVD) and "At Long Last Love" (including the two songs not on the album, but were on the TV broadcast version).

I completely understand those who don't want cottage cheese in their lasagna.

However, Jane Brody, who used to write on food for the NY Times, had a recipe I used to follow for a vegetable lasagna which used cottage cheese - and it was really delicious!

I cannot click this link since I am on my kindle. But since facebook changes so often I bet some of these become outdated quickly.

Had a little important meeting, and would love some excellent vibes and xylophones that the purpose of the meeting works exactly as I would like it to.  It would mean a nice July.

Well, I'm going home.  For lunch, I went to Meconi's Subs (I had a $2 off coupon!), got a meatball sub and only ate half of it.  I still have the second half and will take it home for dinner. :D

Until later!

Until I was in college I always thought cottage cheese was the proper  cheese for use in lasagna and  ziti etc

Since the Vixter and Vixdad refuse to eat pasta in any way, shape, or form  it really doesn't come up much

The Texas Roadhouse has been celebrating their  one anniversary ..  They handed out sealed envelopes to diners  which could only be  opened on a  visit  during the anniversary week

I had six envelopes

between them all  I won three  free entrees, 20% off a dinner bill, and two free appetizers

Well, I guess no one from here is ever going to be invited to my house for dinner.  At least, not when I serve my own lasagna, because I make mine with cottage cheese.  I have never claimed it to be Tom's Italian Lasagna, just Tom's Lasagna.  I have never had a complaint from anyone who has tried it.

Same here, TCB.

And here.

Thank you Laura and Ginny,  I am glad I am not alone.
