I just noticed that you can "remove" a post.  Is that new ?

Nope.

I just noticed that you can "remove" a post.  Is that new ?

Nope. :)

Is there an echo in the house??

 ;)

Actually, Kevin, you can even remove your posts after the day is locked.  That would really screw things up, but it can be done.

I thought we were talking about Facebook?

Oh...oops.

The Texas Roadhouse has been celebrating their  one anniversary ..  They handed out sealed envelopes to diners  which could only be  opened on a  visit  during the anniversary week

I had six envelopes

between them all  I won three  free entrees, 20% off a dinner bill, and two free appetizers

Congrats, Vixmom!

Yes, TCB is right. I am being driven from the site -- for the night, at least.

Good night, all.

Well, I guess no one from here is ever going to be invited to my house for dinner.  At least, not when I serve my own lasagna, because I make mine with cottage cheese.  I have never claimed it to be Tom's Italian Lasagna, just Tom's Lasagna.  I have never had a complaint from anyone who has tried it.

I'll eat lasagna with cottage cheese...you can invite me over :)

the Vixter and Vixdad refuse to eat pasta in any way

what, What, WHAT?     ??? ???

oh yes -- no pasta , that includes egg noodles, for either of them

Vixdad shuns both mashed and baked potatoes  but will eat rice and stuffing , although the Vixter will not touch either

and then Vixter shuns any cheese but mozzarella

is it any surprise that my  cooking skills have seriously deteriorated since living with these two?

My mother made what she wanted to make and if you were hungry you ate it.  If you didn't eat it then it was your problem to make something for yourself

We have our big music festival here on Saturday. It's a day of free music. This year the headliners are Ziggy Marley, Bonnie Raitt and the Avett brothers.  I usually hang out at some friends' house across the street from the festival (Well up and down a HUGE hill and across the street) when I need to cool down.  It's going to be 90 degrees again, yikes, anyway  I haven't really enjoyed my time with that group of people like I used to, so this year I decided to be a sponsor.  I donated the minimum to get into the sponsor tent.  They have free drinks, light food, portapotties you're only sharing with about 100 people instead of 30,000 people, and best of all shade.  And it's right behind the band shell so you can hear everything but it's cool and comfortable.    I've been back there during the festival before, but wasn't really supposed to be there, lol.   Looking forward to that

I mentioned that because I've seriously considered unfriending some of the people in that group.  They are very vocal about their political beliefs and since I no longer share them have been quite rude to me at times or posted things on my newsfeed I really didn't want there - so I removed the posts or hid them. I'm trying to decide if it really matters to me if they realize I've unfriended them and get upset.  I'm starting to think I just don't care.

Vixdad can't stand the scent of  cinnamon  or parmesean or cheese

But they will eat pizza?

yes  they will both eat pizza, which is why when I walk into the  local pizza place they simply hand me  my order without me having to announce my name
and bid me on my way  by saying "See you next week"

Do they like just cheese pizza or will they allow any toppings?

Yes but Vixter's list is much more restricted than Vixdad's

Just in case you aren't following me on FB ;)   If you could go to this link https://www.facebook.com/pages/Morningside-Animal-Hospital/169091566438393?hc_location=timeline and friend my vet's office, Morningside Animal Hospital then click on the furry friends photo contest, there are 4 photos of Callie, Ricky and Boo.  If you like them, I may have a chance at a $50 gift cert at the vet, which would pay for about 1 month of their special food.   Someone has a lot of friends clicking on their photos right now, so I could use some help.  thanks

I go through Facebook and delete old posts frequently. I consider it decluttering.
