Am spending the day with the cats.  Mowed the yard and am doing laundry.  Other than breakfast with Paul, been home and other than the above just sitting.

Well, it's time for me to head out.  I'm house-and-cat-sitting for both my sister and her boyfriend (they have never lived together).  I need to feed their cats and all that goes along with that.  But I'll have to go back again later this evening.  I should've gone earlier today, but I didn't, so I'm going now.

Be back later.

It's going to be cool this week.  Highs in the 70s lows in the 50s maybe even 40s until the end of the week then up to 80s. I can't wait!   I have lots of yard work to do and should be able to get it done in the evenings.

DR Ginny,  I love the photos from the wedding.  I agree that you and Richard both look great and your outfit looks wonderful.  I think it's fabulous you got to help Lauren with her dress.  It's very clear that you all are very close and that she thinks the world of you and Richard.  So glad you had a wonderful time.

Thank you, DR Cillaliz!  I got to help with the dress because I own the crochet hooks the seamstress recommended for the buttons on the back.  And, yes, we are close.  Richard and I try to compensate for the fact that the other paternal uncle and his wife can barely be bothered.  They did attend yesterday's ceremony, but not the reception.  They didn't even hang around long enough to be in a family photo.

Mother of the bride Jayne got to choose which groomsman would escort her to her seat and she chose Rob.

I'm sorry that they aren't more involved for their sake, but so glad that you and Richard have risen to the occasion.  Clearly it is appreciated

That is cute regarding the crochet hooks.

What a shame about the other uncle & wife.  They are the ones missing out while you and Richard are the lucky ones.

Yes, DRs Cillaliz and Jane, the other aunt and uncle have missed out on a lot of hugs.

Did he like the show?  Or I should specify, their production of his show?

We went to the regular library for me to pick up a book, yes a regular hardback.  I don't want to purchase the eBook since I'm not expecting to enjoy reading it. I need to read it for my book group.  While we were at the library we checked out 3 DVD's.  I think tonight we will watch CHARIOT'S OF FIRE.  We also had CABARET and BILLY ELLIOT.

Friends of mine posted this on Facebook...it's too good to not share.

Restaurant Watches Old Surveillance And Shares Shocking Results On Craigslist

Quote
A busy NYC restaurant kept getting bad reviews for slow service, so they hired a firm to investigate. When they compared footage from 2004 to footage from 2014, they made some pretty startling discoveries. So shocking, in fact, that they ranted about it on Craigslist!

If you haven't read this, I highly recommend it.

BK...you've been ranting about this sort of thing for a long time.  Now, there's PROOF! ;)

DR George, I loved this! What is it with all the damned food photos? I have one FB friend who posts nothing but photos of his vegan meals, at least two a day. WTF?  What is the point of a photo of a plate of food? Uneaten or half-eaten? Really?

I have another friend who posts nothing but photos of himself scowling, looking foolish, looking smug, looking moronic, looking elated, occasionally in some activity, and occasionally half-dressed; NOTE: put your shirt back on (actors, oy!). What looked good 20 years ago may not today.

For some of us, it's a living.

there must be a LOT of food critics!

Back from another long day - but we got all the stuff from yesterday mixed into the mixes, and then we edited everything that needed to be edited.  That will all get uploaded in show order to Dropbox by Tuesday night, then I'll listen to it that way, decide if I need to tweak anything, and if I don't, then it will go off to Mr. Kander.
