Happy Monday, all!
I was about to call in my reservation for the new Kritzerland show at the Federal this morning when I got an email from the writer of the vampire musical, the one I did a reading of in May. She had asked me recently to do another reading of it, and my first instinct was to say no. My part especially does not work, even though I get a pretty song which I have to sing twice. But I said yes, because she paid much more than most readings last time and I can't afford to turn this kind of thing down right now. Damn, I need to win the fricken lottery.

Anyhoo, I get the rehearsal schedule: first full read through, Sunday night, Aug. 3rd (the night of the Kritzerland show) at 8:30PM. Really? Oy! Let's have a more inconvenient time - like 3AM!

I may try and make the Kritzerland show anyway, and go to rehearsal late, since they are in the same neighborhood. The read-through might go better with a couple of drinks in me.

Now I should go and look at a list of which musical were 20th Century Fox.
