If I end up getting the flu strain that wasn't included, I'm not going to be happy about it.       :)

My poor niece (the older one) got hit in the face today at recess. Her face smashed into her friend's face. Her friend has a fat lip and a headache. My niece's front tooth came out (not a baby tooth). She spent some time at the dentist. :(

Good morning. I went all the way up to a different mountain to hike this morning ... and the trails were closed. So I got a flu shot instead. I asked about the four-strain, but they didn't have it.

Oh, please have someone do a video and post it!  Would leave to see/hear it!

A flu shot for a hike?  That doesn't sound like a fair trade, DR Laura!

So, I've been here all afternoon, waiting on Fed Ex to deliver the ROBERTA masters.

I just checked the tracking number, and I was informed that a delivery attempt was made at 2:57 and no one was home. Well, bullshit. I've been waiting for the asshole Fed Ex delivery man since noon. Someone will be getting a complaint filed against his sorry butt.

From DR Cilla:
Quote
I got the quad flu shot.  Apparently you can get on against three strains of flu or four strains of flu.  To me that was a no brainer

I had no idea and will ask about this.

I will not let anyone give me a shot again without checking where it will go.  This shot was done close to the top of my shoulder, right were I have the most pain.  I am not having a reaction to the vaccination but am having pain from the location.  Last night I iced it so I could move my shoulder above my head.

It is better today but I'm annoyed with myself for not speaking up yesterday.

Mardi evening greetings from Montparnasse!  The group tour part of our trip ended this morning when we disembarked in Arles.  Richard and I had a smooth train journey back to Paris and are now reconnecting with family and friends.  I haven't yet reviewed all the posts from when we were off line, but I promise I will soon.

Hope someone saw and shared my Facebook post about the expensive wi-fi on the boat.  Five Euros per hour, per device with no guarantee that you wouldn't get knocked off if we entered a lock - non, merci!

Not worth it.

Are you using "pumpkin" as a euphemism?

I would never do such a thing.

As use a euphemism, I mean.

Hi everyone!  It's been a while.

Lots of things have gone down here in this lovely town of San Mateo in the last few months.  Some good, some not-so-good and others challenging and all mostly positive.

I journeyed to Europe in August.  It was a trip of a lifetime, Rome, Venice, Vienna, Bochum (yes, I stopped in Bochum to see Starlight Express and finishing off in Amsterdam.  My trip blog can be found HERE it's almost completed.

Palo Alto Players opens the west coast premiere of Andrew Lippa's Big Fish this weekend.  It's a great show and I'm very proud of it.

Other than that, DD Ben and I are dancing through life.

Welcome home.  Your trip looks wonderful.  I especially enjoyed the photos of the old architecture.

Now that Fed Ex has screwed up my afternoon, what new fresh hell will come rolling down the pike? I'm starting to think my paranoia is right: the universe is out to get me.

Oh, it sounds like they crashed hard.  Is there a chance her tooth will be saved?

You know, I was going to add the word firm to that description, but I refrained for that very reason. So, let'er rip!

I don't think that there was that much pain.  The root stayed in.  She was rushed to an emergency dentist who put some kind of cap on her tooth.  It's unfortunate it had to be one of her adult teeth.  And class pictures are on Friday.
