Well, you've read the notes, the notes were prime and had ribs, and now it is time for you to post until the prime cows come home.

Hate:  Everything about THE WIZ.   And CATS, because it has no story.
Enjoyed, even though can never be as funny as the film, or actors, from which it was conceived:  SPAMALOT.

Good morning, all! I plan to head down early to Toyland, accomplish a few things, pick up a few things and return home.

I slept very poorly, and I feel like garbage today. I do not know if I am getting sick or I'm really tired. Either way, it's one more nail in my coffin.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good, healthy Monday vibes for everyone! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks! I hope it's a stomach virus but I always worry about gastrointestinal problems since my Aunt Lois died of stomach cancer and my dad was felled by colon cancer.
I've inherited my mother's hypochondria!
I REALLY CARE!
I'll see it, but I hated the show. Its success still mystifies me.
I love Into The Woods. But don't really love that movie poster. I'd like to see one with more of the cast.  But I am looking forward to seeing the movie.
Monday morning greetings!  Quiet week ahead in Lake Wobegon Middletown.  Richard and I each have some medical/dental appointments (routine) and we're thinking of going Friday or Saturday evening to see the local production of SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM.  Hope it doesn't qualify for last Saturday's TOD...
Here's a photo that Mary Linda posted on Facebook last night, captioned "Welcome to our luxury kitchenette."
TOD:
I don't think that hate is the right word, but I'm really tired of the overproduced warhorses, especially the "important" Rodgers and Hammerstein shows. I know I never need to see "Sound of Music" ever again, but I'm also tired of "South Pacific," "King and I" and "Oklahoma!" And the sounds of another "My Fair Lady" or "Camelot" doesn't thrill me.
But I'm up for a revival of "Most Happy Fella," "Gypsy," "Anything Goes" (any script at all, because the script doesn't matter), "Guys and Dolls" anytime.
I love Kiss Me, Kate (well, I'll admit, most of it) and I love Soul Train. But I do not want them together. Ever.
It's like that disco version of Begin the Beguine that Johnny Mathis recorded. Or the Porter songs on Ethel's disco album.
Thanks, DR John G - it smelled so good when they invited us up to see those new shelves that Rob had just installed.  Mary Linda was making sauce in the crock-pot with all the tomatoes they'd received in their farm share.
I didn't like "Cats" either. I was soooo bored and that show's popularity mystifies me. I also don't like "Carousel". Who's crazy idea was it to write a show about a wife-beater? But I think the most boring show I've ever seen was "Flora the Red Menace".
I LOVE "Into the Woods"! Albeit it is a bloodbath, but I still loved it.
Mark doesn't like "Company" because he thinks it's a show about a bunch of really miserable people, but I love the music and the humor, so I really enjoyed that show. He's also not a big fan of "Kiss Me Kate" because he gets tired of all the Shakespeare dialog, but I always liked that show, even though it's pretty sexist.
This is supposed to be a musical?
 :o
They are selling it as a horror film.
I don't "hate" them, but I'm not a big fan of CATS or THE WIZ for like reasons.
I love SPAMALOT.  Also RAGTIME.
Wish they would make both into movies.
That is one very nice looking kitchenette, DR Ginny.
Thanks, DR ChasSmith - when they're finished with the upstairs, I'd like to slice it off and move it to NYC as our pied a terre!
TOD:
I can't think of any classic musicals that I hate, just some that I was never interested in seeing. Music Man, for instance. I suspect, however, that if I watched it, I would like it.
I recall seeing STARLIGHT EXPRESS.  Did not like it, which is probably why I forgot about it.
