Must go sit on my couch like so much fish.  I hope I can find some mindless thing on Netflix that I can snooze to if I choose to.

Well, I must be going.  Tonight, we're having a reading of what should (hopefully) be the final version of "The Head That Wouldn't Die," a stage adaptation of the sci-fi b-movie, "The Brain That Wouldn't Die."  I think that only one song needs to be written and then the score will be done...yes, it's going to be a musical! :D Tonight, we're just going to read through it and see if this last batch of changes all makes sense.  I'm sure that they will.

Anyway, be back later!

I see that Carol Burnett is doing Love Letters in NYC with Brian Dennehy for a few weeks (as is Mia Farrow and others).   I wish Carol was going to be there in November around the time BK's shows will be performed.

I think my computer virus is spreading from my laptop to my main computer.

Is that even possible?

Fathom Events is joining with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Turner Classic Movies to bring "TCM Presents: Gone With the Wind" back to its original home in select theatres nationwide and presented in its original aspect ratio so audiences can experience it as it was originally shown 75 years ago. The film will be exhibited on Sunday, September 28 and Wednesday, October 1 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time.

Tickets for "TCM Presents: Gone With the Wind" are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in more than 650 select movie theaters around the country. For a complete list of theater locations and prices, visit the Fathom Events website (theaters and participants are subject to change).

Oh Darn.  I won't be able to go.  I am unable to go on either day!

What were the days again?

I keep getting kicked out of the Daily Discussions.

It had been fine for the past few weeks, but this whole day has been wonky here.  At times, it's like HHW had fallen off the internet.  (Kritzerland, too.)  Other times, I'd get those kickoffs or resets, or just plain excruciatingly slow page loading and posting.  Then sometimes, like now, it's normal.  Up and down all day.

Wonky is an excellent word for it. Odd delays, especially when I try to quote. This one, for example took more than a minute to load.

Good morning, all!

I am stting in the middle of chaos.  Several months ago, our DR ChasSmith mentioned that he might have access to several 5-drawer fling cabinets from a closed office, if i'd like any for storage, and I accepted. So, this morning, DR ChasSmith is driving into Manhattan with these large cabinets in the back of his automobile.  I will replace two 4-drawer cabinets I have with them.

So, last night I emptied the contents of the two cabinets and they are spread all over my living space awaiting transfer to their new home. I'm giving the ld cabinets to my neighbor across the hall, so they are not moving far.  DR ChasSmith has warned me these cabinets weigh a ton, s I hope getting them from the car to the apartment can be accomplished without too much stress, hernia, or stroke.

I will spend some of my day reorganizing and putting things away.  I need to talk to my adopted son Joshie at some point about the Encores! work, which I believe can finally begin (Thank you, Jesus!), and if I need therapy after all of this exertion today, I've got therapy in the morning.

that Chas Smith is a fine fellow!!

He is a truly wonderful friend! But, so are you, DR vixmom.

But let's be honest: there are a plethora of fantastic, generous, kind, loyal and fantastic friends on this site!  God bless the internet for this alone.

and porn.

 :-* :-* :-*   and  ;D
